Abstract

Wynalazek dotyczy sposobu otrzymywania (S)-1-fenyloetan-1,2-diolu, charakteryzującego się tym, że 2-fenyloetanol poddaje się 4-dniowej reakcji biotransformacji z użyciem szczepu Aspergillus niger (KKP 2301) jako biokatalizatora reakcji, przy czym proces biotransformacji prowadzi się w bioreaktorze. Związek znajduje zastosowanie w przemyśle farmaceutycznym.
