Przedmiotem wynalazku jest ciecz jonowa z kationem 4-heksadecylo-4-metylomorfoliniowym i anionem (RS)-2-[4-(2-metylopropylo)fenylo]propanianowym o wzorze 1. Zgłoszenie obejmuje także sposób jej otrzymywania, który polega na tym, że bromek 4-heksadecylo-4-metylomorfoliniowy o wzorze 2, rozpuszcza się w metanolu i poddaje reakcji chemicznej z (RS)-2-[4-(2-metylopropylo)fenylo]propanianem sodu w stosunku molowym korzystnie 1:1 i temperaturze 20°C i w czasie 40 minut, następnie odparowuje się rozpuszczalnik, a pozostałość suszy pod obniżonym ciśnieniem.
