Abstract

The arch support of the mining roadway support with increased load capacity at the joints is intended for the protection of underground mining excavations, especially in hard coal mines located in areas characterized by increased rock mass pressure and an increased risk of mining tremors and rock bursts. Sharp-edged grains are introduced between the contact surfaces (4) of the outer profile of the flexible steel support (1) and the inner profile of the support (2), increasing the friction and thus the load-bearing capacity of the mining support.
