Abstract
The subject of the application is a method of obtaining nonisocyanate-free polyurethanes by polyaddition of five-membered bis (cyclic carbonates) obtained from polyether diols derived from plant materials, characterized by the use of bis (cyclic carbonate) obtained from poly (trimethylene glycol) of vegetable origin with an average molecular weight from 250 up to 2700 g / mol and bio-epichlorohydrin obtained from waste glycerin, while the bis-cyclic carbonate is reacted with diamines and / or polyamines, but in the first stage poly (trimethylene glycol) is reacted with bio-epichlorohydrin to obtain diglycidyl ether, and in the second step, at a temperature of 100 to 125 ° C, the diglycidyl ether is reacted with CO 2 to give bis (cyclic carbonate), and then in the third step, bis (cyclic carbonate) is subjected to an addition reaction with di - or polyamines at a temperature of 60 to 120 ° C in an atmosphere of air or an inert gas. The subject of the application are also non-isocyanate-free polyurethanes obtained in this way.
