Przedmiot wynalazku stanowi bezpieczna metoda pobierania krwi do celów badań laboratoryjnych od gryzoni, z zastosowaniem igły ze strzykawką, po znieczuleniu zwierzęcia, w której miejscem wkłucia jest żyła wargowa dolna odchodząca od splotu bródkowego. Korzystnie wkłucia dokonuje się ustawiając igłę pod kątem 30 - 40°.
