Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest materiał filtracyjny drobnoziarnisty, który wykonany jest z trawertynu i zawiera co najmniej 95% wag. węglanu wapnia CaCO<sub>3</sub> oraz zawiera on krzemian wapnia CaSiO<sub>3</sub>, ortokrzemian wapnia CaSiO<sub>4</sub> i tlenek wapnia CaO. Jego gęstość właściwa jest z zakresu od 2,6 do 2,8 g/cm<sup>3</sup>. Zgłoszenie obejmuje także sposób otrzymywania materiału filtracyjnego, który prowadzi się w czterech etapach z wykorzystaniem trawertynu w postaci skały surowej. W pierwszym etapie trawertyn kruszy się i przesiewa się go do uzyskania ziaren o wielkości od 1 do 5 mm, zaś w drugim etapie ten trawertyn przemywa się co najmniej dwukrotnie. Kolejno w trzecim etapie przemyty trawertyn suszy się, a następnie w czwartym etapie wysuszony trawertyn wypraża się w temperaturze od 500 do 1000°C.The subject of the application is a fine filter material which is made of travertine and contains at least 95 wt. calcium carbonate CaCO<sub>3</sub> and it contains calcium silicate CaSiO<sub>3</sub>, calcium orthosilicate CaSiO<sub>4</sub> and calcium oxide CaO. Its specific density ranges from 2.6 to 2.8 g/cm<sup>3</sup>. The application also includes a method for obtaining the filter material, which is carried out in four stages using travertine in the form of raw rock. In the first step, the travertine is crushed and sieved to a grain size of 1 to 5 mm, and in the second step, this travertine is washed at least twice. Subsequently, in the third step, the washed travertine is dried, and then in the fourth step, the dried travertine is calcined at a temperature of 500 to 1000°C.
