Abstract
Proces separacji soli nieorganicznych oraz organicznych prowadzi się do momentu uzyskania odsolenia roztworu do przewodnictwa poniżej 0,5 mS/cm.The subject of the application is a method for desalting the erythritol fermentation broth, in which the erythritol fermentation broth is first neutralized to a pH in the range of 7-8 and the resulting turbidity is filtered out. Then, the process of separation of inorganic and organic salts, mainly sodium chloride, is carried out using the electrodeionization method using an ion exchange bed mixed in the spaces between the membranes with a layer thickness of 3-30 mm, preferably 4-6 mm. The process of separation of inorganic and organic salts is carried out until the solution is desalted to conductivity below 0.5 mS/cm.
