Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest endoproteza stawu biodrowego, która jest złożona z trzpienia (1), który na połączeniu z główką kulistą (4) ma odcinek szyjki walcowej (2) zwężający się promieniowo do końcówki walcowej (3). Utworzony odcinek powierzchni kulistej (22) styka się bezpośrednio z powierzchnią czołową półpierścienia dolnego (8) i powierzchnią czołową nadlewu (7). W trakcie przywodzenia, jak i odwodzenia kończyny dolnej odcinek powierzchni kulistej (22) przylega ściśle do pierścienia dolnego (8) i nadlewu (7) przez co zwiększa się docisk panewki do kości biodrowej i zabezpiecza endoprotezę przed wyrwaniem z kości biodrowej.
