Abstract

Sterownik układu gazowego otrzymuje sygnały od czujników ciśnienia powietrza (3) i temperatury powietrza (5) w kolektorze dolotowym silnika oraz od czujnika spalania stukowego (4).The presented solution enables electronic control of the air charge pressure during engine operation in dual fuel mode, in a way that eliminates the occurrence of knocking combustion. The beneficial effect of the proposed patented solution is complete independence from mechanical control of the opening of the exhaust gas wastegate valve/variable geometry system and adjustment of the pressure in the intake manifold depending on the engine load and the obtained degree of exchange of the basic fuel with gas. The charge pressure control system in dual fuel engines is characterized in that it contains an electronically controlled actuator (1), which is connected to the yoke of the wastegate/variable geometry valve of the turbocharger assembly (7) (8). The actuator is connected to the CNG supply system controller. The gas system controller receives signals from the air pressure sensors (3) and air temperature sensors (5) in the engine intake manifold and from the knock sensor (4).
