Abstract
The application shown in the drawing solves the problem of a carport support, whose structure is stable and durable thanks to a ribbed reinforcing head. Furthermore, the support's design allows for the attachment of a roof equipped with photovoltaic cells. The support for the carport structure is characterized by a support and two girders placed at its top, where the support is a cuboid with a lower base cut at an angle of approximately 10°. The support is constructed of two mirror-image C-shaped bent sheet metal elements, the ends of which are bent inward to form flanges with screw holes connecting the two elements. The lower part of the support has screw holes, and two recesses on each lower edge. The upper part of the support also has screw holes located below the girders, and screw holes for securing the girder ends. The support is placed on a plinth, which is a steel plate with holes for screws that secure the support to the ground, evenly spaced along the edges. Two parallelogram-shaped steel walls are welded to the center of the steel base plate, each with holes evenly spaced across its entire surface so that they are coaxial with the holes in the lower part of the support. These holes hold mounting screws that pass through these holes, as well as holes in the lower part of the support. Steel reinforcing ribs are placed between the steel walls. A header is placed at the top of the support, consisting of two rectangular steel plates, between which are placed horizontal steel ribs and vertical steel ribs forming a truss. The steel header plates have holes corresponding to the holes in the upper part of the support, and two recesses in the lower part of the header, so that the recesses overlap the screws placed in the lowest holes in the upper part of the support, while the remaining header holes are coaxial with the holes in the upper part of the support. At the top of the support, at right angles to its upper edge, two truncated quadrangular pyramid-shaped girders are attached on both sides, each of which consists of two mirror-image elements made of sheet metal bent in the shape of the letter "C", the ends of the arms of which are bent inwards to form flanges.
