Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania poli(kwasu jabłkowego) z zastosowaniem bezpośredniej reakcji polikondensacji, charakteryzujący się tym, że przygotowuje się mieszaninę kwasu jabłkowego i alkoholu monohydroksylowego w stosunku molowym odpowiednio od 1:1 do 1:10, następnie mieszaninę reakcyjną ogrzewa się w temperaturze 50°C - 150°C przez 12 – 26 h w obecności katalizatora w ilości 5% względem monomeru kwasu, po czym mieszaninę reakcyjną zobojętnia się, a uzyskany diester poddaje się reakcji polikondensacji w reaktorze mikrofalowym w temperaturze 100°C - 200°C, w czasie od 1 do 10 min przy zastosowaniu mocy reaktora w zakresie od 50 do 200 W, przy czym otrzymany poli(kwas) jabłkowy posiada ciężar cząsteczkowy w zakresie 8 - 10 kDa.The subject of the invention application is a method for producing poly(malic acid) using a direct polycondensation reaction, characterized in that a mixture of malic acid and monohydric alcohol is prepared in a molar ratio of 1:1 to 1:10, respectively, then the reaction mixture is heated at a temperature of 50°C - 150°C for 12 - 26 h in the presence of a catalyst in an amount of 5% relative to the acid monomer, after which the reaction mixture is neutralized, and the obtained diester is subjected to a polycondensation reaction in a microwave reactor at a temperature of 100°C - 200°C, for 1 to 10 min using a reactor power in the range of 50 to 200 W, wherein the obtained poly(malic acid) has a molecular weight in the range of 8 - 10 kDa.
