W tym materiale ogniotrwałym proporcja SiC w materiale ogniotrwałym wynosi 60% wagowych lub więcej i 90% wagowych lub mniej, a proporcje pierwiastków stanowiących część wiążącą są następujące: Si:0,1% wagowych lub więcej i 1,1% wagowych lub mniej, Al.:4% wagowych lub więcej i 2% wagowych lub mniej, O:4,8% wagowych lub więcej i 19% wagowych lub mniej i N:7,2% wagowych lub więcej i 13,1% wagowych lub mniej.
