Zdzislaw Lesniak Wlasciciel patentu: Polskie Koleje Panstwowe Centralny Osrodek Badan i Rozwoju Techniki Kolejnictwa, Warszawa (Polska) Most kolejowy stalowy-a- malej wysokosci konstrukcji -:¦ "¦ i a Li CU LKA Urzedu Pntenlowego j Dotychczas stosowane mosty kolejowe stalowe o malej wysokosci konstrukcyjnej H (z jazda do¬ lem) maja szyny badz to ulozone na drewnianych mostownicach, opartych na jezdni skladajacej sie z podluznie i poprzecznie stalowych, badz bezpo¬ srednio przymocowane do poprzecznie stalowych. 4971349713 PL PLPublished; 31.VII.1965 49713 Ki. 19 d, 9/00 MKP E01 EOld 9/CC UKD 624.2/.8.013 + 624,2/.8;014 Inventor: dr inz. Zdzisław Lesniak Patent owner: Polish State Railways Central Centre for Research and Development of Railway Technology, Warsaw (Poland) Steel railway bridge - a - of low structural height -:¦ "¦ i a Li CU LKA UrzÄ…du Pntenlowego j The previously used steel railway bridges of low structural height H (with underpass) have rails either placed on wooden bridge girders, supported on the roadway consisting of longitudinally and transversely steel rails, or directly attached to the transversely steel rails. The load-bearing elements of the roadway cross-section do not constitute part of the cross-section of the main girders. Such solutions are significantly heavier than steel bridges with a top-loading bridge (where, however, the structural height is significantly greater). The bridge according to the invention ensures – regardless of the bridge span – a very low structural height, desirable for crossings with roads at different levels, and at the same time demonstrates significantly lower steel consumption not only in comparison with previously used bridge solutions with a limited structural height, but even a certain saving in comparison with bridges with a top-loading bridge of unlimited structural height. Figure 1 shows a cross-section of the bridge according to the invention. The left side of the drawing shows a cross-section in the middle of the bridge span, and the right side shows a cross-section of the bridge above the support. The main girder of the bridge has a trough-shaped cross-section, open at the top, 1, 2, 3, composed of two inclined plates. (webs) — 1, lower horizontal plate 2 with a slight transverse slope to ensure drainage and the prescribed oblique arrangement of the rails and upper flange plates 3. Horizontal plate 2 serves as the lower chord of the main girder and at the same time constitutes the lower chord of the transverse 4. By inclining the webs 1 of the main girder, the transverse span 4 is reduced and the horizontal stiffness of the webs ¦'! is increased. The roadway structure consists only of crossbeams 4, which form a horizontal grid together with rails 5. Crossbeams 4 and stiffening ribs 7 can be made from halves of appropriately cut rolled I-beam profiles, creating openings 8 and 9, which reduce material consumption and allow for longitudinal bridge drainage. The rails are attached directly to the upper chords of crossbeams 6 via spring washers. The axial spacing of the crossbeams corresponds to the normal spacing of the bridge girders - Fig. 2, showing a longitudinal section of the bridge section. Only at the ends of the bridge, two crossbeams are used at a closer spacing to accommodate the increased load on the end girders, to relieve the end girders of the rails, and to provide greater stiffness to the supporting frames. The rails and crossbeams are calculated based on the theory of a beam on an elastic foundation. 4971349713 PL PL
