Obmurze wyklada sie materialami ogniotrwalymi sposobem wiazanym.Dotychczasowe sposoby wykladania strefy spie¬ kania pieców obrotowych przemyslu cementowego materialami ogniotrwalymi wskazywaly wiele wad a mianowicie: znaczna wysokosc ksztaltek magne¬ zytowo-chromitowych wzglednie chromitowo-mag- nezytowych, slaba izolacja cieplna z powodu znacz¬ nego przewodnictwa cieplnego warstwy tych wy¬ robów, slabe zwiazanie warstwy plytek szamoto¬ wych z plaszczem stolowym pieca obrotowego, szybsze zuzywanie sie wykladziny ogniotrwalej strefy spiekania, przypadki czestej deformacji plaszcza stalowego w strefie spiekania.Wad tych mozna uniknac przez zastosowanie materialów ogniotrwalych o mniejszym przewod¬ nictwie cieplnym i lepsze zwiazanie wykladziny 15 20 25 30 plytek szamotowych z plaszczem stalowym pieca obrotowego.Cel ten osiagnieto w wynalazku przez zastoso¬ wanie ksztaltek magnezytowo-chromitowych wzglednie chromitowo-magnezytowych o wysokosci 150 do 180 mm (optymalnie 180 mm) wskutek czego ulegnie zmniejszeniu grubosc warstwy wyrobów ogniotrwalych odznaczajacych sie dobrym prze¬ wodnictwem cieplnym, przez zwiekszenie grubosci warstwy plytek szamotowych wysokiej jakosci od 40 do 80 mm (optymalnie 65 mm), o ogniolrwalosci zwyklej 169—173 sP i wytrzymalosci na sciskanie ponad 300 kG/cm2.Dla lepszego zwiazania plytek szamotowych za¬ stosowano zaprawe zawierajaca w swym skladzie 20 do 50 czesci wagowych cementu portlandzkiego marki „350" z maczka szamotowa o ogniotrwalosci zwyklej 165 do 169 sP. Celem powiazania wykla¬ dziny z plytek szamotowych z pancerzem pieca zastosowano warstwe betonu zaroodpornego o skla¬ dzie 40 czesci wagowych cementu portlandzkiego marki „350" i 60 czesci wagowych zlomu szamo¬ towego o uziarnieniu 0 do 6 mm.Zalety nowego sposobu wykladania strefy spie¬ kania pieców obrotowych przemyslu cementowe¬ go sa nastepujace: zmniejszenie ciezaru zamurowanych ksztaltek magnezytowo-chromitowych wzglednie chromito- . wo-magnezytowych wskutek zmniejszenia ich wy- 504653 sokosci, dzieki czemu uzyskuje sie znaczne oszczed¬ nosci na koszcie tych materialów; powiekszenie grubosci warstwy plytek szamoto¬ wych, majacych gorsze przewodnictwo cieplne, materialów ogniotrwalych o polowe tanszych od wyrobów magnezytowo-chromitowych wzglednie chromitowo-magnezytowych, dzieki czemu uzysku¬ je sie lepsza izolacje cieplna pancerza pieca; zwiazanie plytek szamotowych z pancerzem w monolityczna calosc, zwiekszenie odpornosci wy¬ kladziny z wyrobów magnezytowo-chromitowych wzglednie chromitowo-magnezytowych na wstrza¬ sy termiczne, dzieki zmniejszeniu formatu ksztal¬ tek; obnizenie zuzycia ksztaltek magnezytowo-chro¬ mitowych wzglednie chromitowo-magnezytowych. PL PLPublished: 20/01/1966 I KI. 80c, 14/01 MKF 0 01 o Fm % UKD Co-inventors of the invention: Otton Przegendza, Eugeniusz Majewski, Walery Cieslinski, Zbigniew Gulinski, Justyn Stachurski, Wiesław Piatkowski Patent owner: Chrzanowskie Zaklady Materialów Ogniotrwalych, Chrzanów (Poland) Method of lining rotary kilns with refractory materials The invention relates to a method of lining the sintering zone of rotary kilns for burning cement with refractory materials. Until now, the sintering zone of rotary kilns used for burning cement clinker is lined with magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite shapes, used as a backing from the side of the shell. Fireclay tiles. Magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite shapes 200 to 300 mm high and fireclay tiles 20 to 40 mm thick are used for lining the brickwork. Fireclay mortar is usually used to bind the fireclay tiles. The brickwork is lined with refractory materials using a bonded method. Previous methods of lining the sintering zone of rotary kilns in the cement industry with refractory materials have shown many disadvantages, namely: the considerable height of the magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite shapes, poor thermal insulation due to the significant thermal conductivity of the layer of these products, poor bonding of the layer of fireclay tiles with the table jacket of the rotary kiln, faster wear of the refractory lining of the sintering zone, and frequent deformation of the steel jacket in the sintering zone. These disadvantages can be avoided by using refractory materials with lower thermal conductivity and better bonding of the lining (15, 20, 25, 30 tiles). This aim was achieved in the invention by using magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite shapes with a height of 150 to 180 mm (optimally 180 mm), as a result of which the thickness of the layer of refractory products characterized by good thermal conductivity will be reduced, by increasing the thickness of the layer of high-quality fireclay tiles from 40 to 80 mm (optimally 65 mm), with a typical fire resistance of 169-173 sP and compressive strength of over 300 kg/cm2. For better bonding of the fireclay tiles, a mortar containing in its composition 20 to 50 parts by weight of Portland cement of the "350" brand with fireclay flour of standard fire resistance 165 to 169 sP. In order to connect the lining of fireclay tiles with the furnace armor, a layer of refractory concrete was used, consisting of 40 parts by weight of Portland cement brand "350" and 60 parts by weight of fireclay scrap with a grain size of 0 to 6 mm. The advantages of the new method of lining the sintering zone of rotary kilns in the cement industry are as follows: reducing the weight of the embedded magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite shapes due to the reduction of their height, which results in significant savings on the cost of these materials; Increasing the thickness of the fireclay tile layer, which has poorer thermal conductivity, refractory materials that are half the price of magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite products, which provides better thermal insulation of the furnace shell; bonding the fireclay tile with the shell into a monolithic whole; increasing the thermal shock resistance of the magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite lining by reducing the shape size; and reducing the consumption of magnesite-chromite or chromite-magnesite shapes.
