Przez pra¬ sowanie uzyskuje sie wielokrotne zwiekszenie la¬ downosci suchej zaprawy wlóknistej.Sucha zaprawa wlóknista zawierajaca 20°/o pylu papierowego, z/któreLuzyskuje sie wyprawe o op- f 5467854678 tymalnych wlasciwosciach fizyko-mechanicznych i uzytkowych posiada w stanie niesprasowanym ciezar objetosciowy rzedu 150—160 kg/m3. Eng. Apolonia Zowall, M.Sc. Eng. Patent owner: Building Research Institute, Warsaw (Poland) Method for manufacturing fibrous plastic mortars The method for manufacturing fibrous plastic mortars according to patent no. 48071 concerns wet, ready-to-use, colored plastic mortars with a high content of cellulose fibers, intended for making leveling and decorative plasters on raw, unplastered surfaces of buildings made of large- and medium-sized prefabricated elements and monolithic concrete. According to this method, dry cellulose waste in the form of paper or cotton dust or short-fiber cotton wool is mixed with dry with minerals with a significant content of colloidal aluminosilicates such as bentonite, kaolin clay or ton in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:5. This mixture is passed through an impact mill or similar equipped with a sieve with a mesh diameter of 1 to 4 mm and the whole is poured with water in the amount necessary to create a suspension of fibers in the aluminosilicate gel, in which the fibers are evenly distributed and immobilized. Afterwards, this suspension is wet mixed with the remaining ingredients such as binding agent, sand, etc. Due to the high water content in the mortar, the method according to patent no. 48071 is not very economical when transporting these mortars over long distances and also due to their insufficient resistance to transport. and storage at temperatures below 0°C when using emulsion or dispersion type binders for their production. It was found that these disadvantages can be avoided and the mortar can be prepared in a dry form by proceeding as follows. Dry cellulose waste with a fiber length of up to 4 mm is dry mixed with colloidal aluminosilicates in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:5 and with high-molecular-weight organic binders in the form of water-soluble powders or those that transform into an aqueous dispersion upon mixing with water and optionally with mineral binders and pigments. Next, as in Patent No. 48071, this dry mixture is passed through an impact mill or similar device equipped with a sieve with a mesh size of 1 to 4 mm. During this operation, the fibrous component is defibered and distributed evenly throughout the mixture. The resulting mixture is cold pressed in molds under pressures ranging from 30 to 200 kgf/cm³. The formed elements, in the form of blocks, cylinders, etc., are packaged in a manner that protects them from moisture during transport and storage, for example, in waterproof paper or thin plastic foil. By pressing, the load-bearing capacity of the dry fibrous mortar is increased many times. The dry fibrous mortar containing 20% of paper dust, which produces a plaster with optimal physical, mechanical and functional properties, has a volumetric density of 150-160 kg/m3 in the unpressed state. The mortar in the form of pressed elements has a volumetric density of 1200-1500 kg/m8 and is sufficiently resistant to impacts and other mechanical factors occurring during loading, transport or unloading, and in this form it is dust-free, so it is convenient to transport and store. At the place of use, the pressed elements of dry fibrous mortar are crushed, poured with water in such an amount that after complete swelling the mass has the consistency of thick putty, and then by adding water and thoroughly mixing (homogenizing) in concrete mixers or other types of mixers, during which the powdered organic binder is completely dissolved or redispersed, a homogeneous plastic mass is obtained. Fiber mortar with good working and utility properties. 1 m3 of mortar in the form of compressed elements, after crushing them and mixing them with water, yields up to 6 tons of wet fiber mortar, sufficient to cover up to 2000 m2 of surface with a plaster 2-2.5 mm thick. 15 25 PL PL
