! i PLPriority: Published: 20.XII.1968 56449 IC. 5b, 25/10 MKP E21 c | ~ C2Y lilL ^ l A 1 mjff ^ Palsntow-: oo 1 WsMej Bzssy ^ uliiei 1 Co-authors of the invention: Eng. Tadeusz Babisz, Walter Ragus The owner of the patent: Zaklady Konstrukcyjno Mechanizacyjne Przemyslu Weglowego, Gliwice (Poland) Coal shearer The subject of the invention is a coal shearer for two-way mining. The hitherto known drum harvesters for coal mining and loading, working from a conveyor, consist of a body, which is a tractor, an engine and a gear transmitting the engine drive to the cutting head, called the head. On the shaft. The cutting head is mounted on the last stage of the head gearbox. The width of the shearer's body, that is, the tractor, engine and head in currently used combines, is greater than the width of the conveyor from which it works and on which the excavated material is loaded. that these combines are designed to cut solid coal in one direction only, i.e. in the direction of the combine's advance, the head is forward. In the said combine-harvesters, the coal mined by a coal-mining body in only a small amount is loaded with an organ on the conveyor through the gap between the conveyor and lower edge of the head. The vast majority of the excavated material in the amount of about 80% of the cutting organ is transferred behind itself to the loading box of the loader, which is pulled behind the combine. These combines cannot cut the whole thing in the opposite direction, i.e. when the combine is advanced, the head is moved forward because the cut is thrown over the head. the coal cannot be loaded onto the conveyor by the loader, as the silt 15 20 25 30 would be attached to the body of the combine, which at this point completely covers the conveyor. An additional disadvantage of the known combines is that the cutting head is located it is on the shaft on the side of the machine, which means that its center of gravity is significantly shifted towards the side of the machine. The resistance of the digging of such a positioned organ causes a twisting moment on the arm, with a length from the half of the shoulder to the center of gravity. A similar twisting moment causes the tension force in the working cable on the arm from the axis of this cable to the center of gravity. These moments cause the combi to twist in a horizontal plane, and therefore they can only work from the conveyor which is their guide. The aim of the invention is to build such a coal shearer that would be able to cut solid coal in both feed directions while simultaneously loading the spoil onto the conveyor, and at the same time would reduce the twisting moment. This goal was achieved by narrowing and skewing the edge of the lower head on the side of the conveyor. Of the mining excavator in relation to the engine and tractor body, sufficiently so that the coal mined by the coal-mining body could be loaded onto the exposed conveyor at the narrowing point of the head, as well as by building a shaped casing plate at the cutting organ which closes the space the body loads the spoil remaining - 5644 956 449 they are on the slope behind the cutting head and at the same time increases the effectiveness of the loading of the head itself. The coal harvester according to the invention can also be used in strongly sloping decks and works directly on the slope without a conveyor, because the narrowing of the head allows ¬ no cutting head in places resulting from the narrowing of the head, which at the same time largely eliminates the twisting moment in the work of the previously known combines. The invention will be explained in more detail on the example of the embodiment shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the combine in a top view working in an inclined deck without a conveyor in the cutting direction on the rise, Fig. 2 in the direction of cutting after the fall, Fig. 3 the combine working on the conveyor in horizontal decks and slightly inclined with the cutting direction with the tractor forward, Fig. 4 with the cutting direction of the head forward, Fig. 5 shows the cutterhead section through the heads in a front view, Fig. 6 shows the cutting head with the shield in side view. The coal harvester according to the invention shown in Figs. ¬ the remaining part of the body, which makes it possible to partially position the cutting drum 4 in this weight. As a result, the center of gravity of the roadheader is closer to the longitudinal axis of symmetry, and thus the twisting moment resulting from the force in the string due to its action on the shorter arm is much smaller, which results in a more straightforward feed of the roadheader along the shoulder and does not require a special guide such as, for example, the conveyor in the case of known combines. In order to increase the exposure of the conveyor 7, the narrowed head 3 has a cut edge 5 along the length of the groove 5. The cutting and loading body 4 cooperates with a shield loader G in the form of a shaped plate, which closes the space between the hewn and the roof behind the cutting head. ! and PL
