Drewno i inne materialy palne nasycone srodkiem wedlug wynalazku trwale zachowuje swoje wlas¬ nosci mechaniczne.Przyklad: Srodek wedlug wynalazku sklada sie z; Soli amonowej kwasów chloroligninosul¬ fonowych 300 kg Urotropiny 6 kg Kondensatu kwasu oleinowego z kwasami aminokarboksylowymi o ostatecznym wzo¬ rze: 6 kg C17H33CONH (CONHCH)4 COONa I I C3H7 C3H7 wody 688 kg Przykladowo srodek wedlug wjynalazku sporza¬ dza sie nastepujaco: Do 988 kg okolo 30%-owego roztworu soli amonowej kwasów chloroligninosul¬ fonowych o pH 4 wprowadza sie 6 kg urotropiny oraz 6 kg kondensatu kwasu oleinowego z kwa¬ sami aminokarbonowymi uzyskanymi z hydroliza¬ tów bialka. Otrzymany srodek powoduje w temperaturze 80°C co naj¬ mniej 10-krotnie mniejsza korozje stalowych urza¬ dzen nasycalni drewna, niz roztwory soli kwasów chloroligninosulfonowych. Józef Handtke Patent holder: Central Mining Institute, Katowice (Poland) Fungicide and fire retardant for protecting wood and other combustible materials. The invention concerns a fungicide and fire retardant for protecting wood and other combustible materials based on salts of chloroligninsulfonic acids. Fungicides and fire retardants for protecting wood and other combustible materials are known, which involve chlorinating and neutralizing sulphite liquors containing salts of chloroligninsulfonic acids. However, in practice, these salts have proven to have a number of disadvantages that hinder their industrial use as fungicides and fire retardants. Aqueous solutions of salts of chlorolignin-sulfonic acids excessively corrode steel impregnation equipment, undergo self-acidification during storage, and poorly penetrate wood during impregnation, and are relatively easily washed out of wood. Although it is possible to reduce the corrosive properties of chloroligninsulfonic acid salts by introducing small additions of hexamine to their solutions, this measure is of no practical importance as the inhibiting effect of hexamine disappears after a few days. The aim of the invention is to avoid the above-mentioned disadvantages, and in particular to eliminate corrosion, and to obtain better technical properties of the preparation. It turned out that using an aqueous solution 2 with a pH of 3 to 6, containing 10% to 40% by weight of chloroligninsulfonic acid salts, 0.1% to 2% by weight of hexamine and 0.1% to 2% by weight of the condensation product of the formula: 5 R'CONHCH (CONHCH)n COONa I I R" R» where R' — denotes an alkyl radical containing 5—16 carbon atoms 10 R" — denotes an alkyl radical containing up to 6 carbon atoms n — denotes the number of amino acid or aminosulfonic acid molecules, where n<6, acting as a modifier, provides complete antifungal and fire protection of these materials. The same effects are obtained when using as a modifier the condensation products of a sulfofatty chain with aminocarboxylic acids of the final formula; R,SO2NHCH (CONHCH)n COONa I I R" R» wherein R' — denotes an alkyl radical containing 5-16 carbon atoms R" — denotes an alkyl radical containing up to 6 carbon atoms n — denotes the number of amino acid or aminosulfonic acid molecules, where n<6. 573603 57360 4 The agent according to the invention causes only slight corrosion of steel, which has no practical significance for the durability of transport devices and vessels. It is stable, i.e. it does not change the pH reaction and therefore does not undergo auto-acidification. The agent according to the invention penetrates wood perfectly and is more difficult to wash out of it than salts of chloroligninsulfonic acids. Wood and other combustible materials impregnated with the agent according to the invention permanently retain their mechanical properties. Example: The agent according to the invention consists of: Ammonium salt of chloroligninosulfonic acids 300 kg Urotropin 6 kg Condensate of oleic acid with aminocarboxylic acids with the final formula: 6 kg C17H33CONH (CONHCH)4 COONa I I C3H7 C3H7 water 688 kg For example, the agent according to the invention is prepared as follows: 6 kg of urotropin and 6 kg of oleic acid condensate with aminocarbonic acids obtained from protein hydrolysates are introduced into 988 kg of an approximately 30% solution of ammonium salt of chloroligninosulfonic acids at pH 4. After mixing, the prepared agent is diluted with water in a 2:1 ratio and saturated with 10 millimeters of wood under 8 atm pressure and 80°C. The wood thus impregnated is completely protected against fungi and fire. The agent according to the invention is stable; it maintains the pH of the solution at a constant level for at least 8 weeks, meaning it does not self-acidify. At 80°C, the resulting agent causes at least 10 times less corrosion of steel wood treatment equipment than solutions of chlorolignin sulfonic acid salts.
