Pelnomocnik PL PLThe subject of the industrial design is a set of upholstered seating consisting of a multi-seater seat, a single-seater seat, and an armchair. The essence of the set, as designed, lies in the shape of the elements used in the set, enabling any seating configuration. The design is shown in a perspective drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the multi-seater seat, Fig. 2 the single-seater seat, and Fig. 3 the armchair. The multi-seater seat, the single-seater seat, and the armchair consist of an upholstered base in the shape of a cuboid with a rounded upper front edge, which is mounted on legs positioned in slotted recesses. The upper surface of the seat base has slotted longitudinal and transverse recesses, the side walls of which form an acute angle, where the backrests and side rests are separated. The base of the multi-person seat and armchair differs from the single-person seat by having transverse slotted cutouts which the single-person seat does not have. The backrest is an upholstered block whose shape is defined by an arched rear wall and two arched front walls, upper and lower, connected by a seam to provide separate support for the user's back and head. The back and lower front walls are smooth, while the upper front wall is profiled by a series of parallel protrusions. The side backrests are wedge-shaped, with a rounded upper surface and consist of a smooth wedge-shaped part, which secures the backrest to the seat base, and a part that provides the user's backrest and whose surface is decorated with a series of interconnected protrusions, like the upper arched wall of the backrest. The seats, according to the pattern, can be made of any upholstery material in any color or color combination. The characteristic features of the upholstered seat set are the detachable connection of the bases with the rear and side backrests, which are located in the V-shaped cutouts of the bases. The rear backrests are defined by an upholstered geometric solid, which is bounded on one side by an arched rear wall, while the front wall is shaped by arched planes defined by a horizontal stitching that creates two cushions, the upper one of which has a profiled outer surface in the form of a series of projections with mutually parallel stitching, while the side backrests are shaped like wedges, the outer surface of which, located above the base, is profiled in the same way as the front surface of the upper cushion of the backrest.
