Description

Dzieki temu ortec metalu alkalicznego napotyka do redukcji wiecej kwasnego siarczynu i mniej tiosiar- nów i wielotiosiarczanów. Wskutek tego wydajnosc podsiarczynu znacznie wzrasta i metoda ta pozwala prowadzic prace w sposób ciagly. PL PLThe reduction of acid sulphites with alkali ortets leads to the formation of nothing but dithiosulphite, but it is partially further reduced to thiosulphate, the latter to polysulphate. As a result, part of the alkali metal and part of the sulfuric acid are lost in the sulfite formation reaction. Due to the high solubility of thiosulphates and polysulphates in water, their amount increases continuously and accordingly takes up most of the alkali metal reducing action. It has now been found that the yield of the dithium sulphite obtained by the action of the alkali metal on acid sulphite can be significantly increased, since part of the mother liquors is periodically or continuously removed and replaced with water or a salt solution, e.g. table salt. the value of thiosulphates and polythiosulphates in the liquors drops significantly, while by adding acid sulphite simultaneously or not simultaneously, the content of sulphite and acid sulphite in the liquors remains constant in the desired amount. Thereby, the alkali metal ortec encounters more acid sulphite and less thiosulphates and polythiosulphates for reduction. As a result, the yield of dithionite increases significantly and this method allows the work to be carried out continuously. PL PL
