PL PL PLDescription of the design: The subject of the utility model is a two-stage medium pressure gas regulator, intended primarily for laboratory purposes. Its purpose is to reduce the pressure occurring in toxic and inert gas testing systems. In regulators of this type, the inlet pressure is reduced at the first stage to the pressure in the intermediate chamber and then at the second stage to the outlet pressure. Two-stage gas pressure regulators known, for example, from the description of utility model PL 38643 and the description of patent application PL 332932 have a tight body that includes at least: an inlet port, a first reduction stage comprising a single-head valve controlled by a diaphragm lever system, a second reduction stage comprising a double-head valve controlled by a diaphragm lever system, and an outlet port. Known regulators are equipped, in accordance with safety requirements, with additional safeguards against excessive pressure increase or decrease. The safety device consists of: - a blow-off valve that reduces the outlet pressure if it exceeds the permissible value, - a safety valve that cuts off the gas flow when the set pressure is exceeded, and - a valve that closes the gas flow if the pressure drops below the set value. The known regulator is equipped with a first-stage reduction passage connecting the inlet with the intermediate chamber. The passage is equipped with a seat for the first-stage valve valve head, activated by a diaphragm. The space beneath the diaphragm is connected to the intermediate chamber by an opening. The upper part of the diaphragm is pressed downward by springs. The valve components are arranged so that the gas pressure at the outlet acts to close the valve disc. The first stage of the regulator, as described, reduces the supplied gas pressure to the pressure in the intermediate chamber. In the second stage of the regulator, the pressure in the intermediate chamber is reduced to the outlet pressure. For this purpose, the second stage of the regulator is equipped with a reduction stage. The diaphragm is connected to the disc by a lever, the ratio of which is selected to increase the force of the diaphragm on the disc. During closing, the valve's closing force counteracts the pressure in the intermediate chamber. The pressure at the regulator outlet is regulated by a spring pressing the diaphragm. The spring pressure is set to a constant value. The pressure at the outlet acts on the lower part of the diaphragm. Known regulators do not have a second-stage reduction adjustment and are characterized by low flow at lower pressures. The purpose of the utility model is a two-stage medium gas pressure regulator with smooth flow regulation at the second-stage reduction at low pressures and high efficiency. The design is a medium pressure gas regulator comprising a housing with inlet and outlet connections, containing a first-stage reduction valve and a second-stage reduction valve. The regulator is characterized by having a manual spring pressure adjuster on the diaphragm housing for the second-stage reduction. In embodiments of the utility model, the regulator may have an adjuster in the form of a knob mounted in a rotatable manner, on a thread, in a spring space. At least one spring rests on the knob, exerting pressure on the diaphragm of the second-stage reduction with its opposite end. If there are two springs in the spring space, they are mounted coaxially, with the outer spring being longer and the inner spring being shorter. The spring space is connected to the atmosphere through vent holes in the knob. The subject of the utility model is shown in the drawing, where Fig. 1 shows the regulator in a side view and Fig. 2 shows the complete second-stage reduction cover assembly in half-section. The regulator according to the pattern has a tight, compact body 1 provided with an inlet 2 and an outlet 3 protruding to the outside. These connections can be arranged at an angle, as shown in the membrane 6. The housing 4 on the side of the space 5 is threaded and closed from the top with a knob 7 secured against unscrewing by a stop 8. The knob 7 has: an internal, through hole 9 for the slider 10, venting holes 11, 12 (hole 12 for venting when the knob is screwed in), and saddles 13, 14 for springs 15, 16. The membrane space 6 is closed from the bottom with a membrane 17, which adheres with its rim to the housing 4 and is tightly connected to the body 1 of the regulator by means of and screws arranged in holes 18. A slider 10 is tightly mounted in the axis of the membrane 17, sliding with one end into the hole 9 of the knob 7, and with the opposite end, equipped with a hole 19, hooked to the ePL 65 100 Y1 3 2nd stage reduction lever. The internal spring 15 is guided on the slider 10. The external spring 16 is mounted on one side in the socket 14 and on the opposite side in the saddle 20. The gas regulator according to the pattern is a pressure reducer with full safety automatic equipment, i.e.: a quick-closing valve, a button initiating the reducer operation after the inlet pressure drop, and a valve protecting against the inlet pressure drop. The regulator according to the formula operates similarly to known two-stage reducers, except that the pressure on the diaphragm 17 of the second reduction stage is caused by the force of the springs 15, 16, which changes depending on the position of the knob 7. With the knob 7 unscrewed from the space 5, only the spring 16, which is the low reduction spring, acts on the diaphragm 17. By screwing in the knob 7, the reduction stage is increased. At a certain moment, the spring 15 - not subjected to pressure so far - settles in the seat 13 and further screwing in of the knob 7 increases the degree of reduction by the force of both springs 15, 16. Pressure changes inside the housing 4, caused by the movement of the diaphragm 17, are equalized by vent holes 11, 12. In the maximum reduction position, when the knob 7 is completely screwed in and its knob 21 rests on the screw of the limiter 8, the connection of the space 5, 6 with the atmosphere, in order to level out the pressure changes, takes place through holes 11, 12. The regulator according to the formula allows to achieve the following maximum flow values Q max as a function of the inlet pressure P e i outlet P a . P a P e 6 mbar 10 mbar 20 mbar 30 mbar 40 mbar 50 mbar 60 mbar 0.1 bar Q max = 3.7 Q max = 3.6 Q max = 3.2 Q max = 2.9 Q max = 2.5 Q max = 1.8 Q max = 1.0 0.2 bar Q max = 5.7 Q max = 5.6 Q max = 5.4 Q max = 5.0 Q max = 4.9 Q max = 4.7 Q max = 4.5 0.5 bar Q max = - Q max = 9.9 Q max = 9.9 Q max = 9.5 Q max = 9.4 Q max = 9.3 Q max = 9.1 1.0 bar Q max = - Q max = 11.6 Q max = 11.4 Q max = 11.2 Q max = 10.8 Q max = 10.5 Q max = 10.1 4.0 bar Q max = 2.0 Q max = 10.5 Q max = 10.3 Q max = 10.0 Q max = 9.8 Q max = 9.5 Q max = 8.8 5.5 bar Q max = 4.2 Q max = 10.2 Q max = 9.8 Q max = 9.5 Q max = 9.0 Q max = 8.5 Q max = 8.1 The above-presented variant does not exhaust all the possibilities of realization and application of the solution according to the formula.
