PL PL PLThe present invention relates to furnaces for burning powdered fuel, e.g. coal, with a device for removing ash and residues. Difficulties arise when burning fine combustible materials due to the fact that ash and other residues turn into a liquid state under the influence of high temperature and after cooling down, they form a crust that is difficult to remove. Therefore, it was proposed to place in the combustion space, above the ash pan, pipes with flowing water, which suddenly cools and airs the ash particles. According to the present invention, this aim is achieved by means of cooling means which, due to their simple and cheap construction, ensure a successful effect. According to the invention, the bottom of the combustion chamber is made in in the shape of a funnel, lining its walls with pipes with a circulating heat-absorbing agent, as a result of which the temperature of the ash is kept below the temperature of transition into a liquid state. The slope of the hopper walls is selected so that the ash slides down under the action of gravity. The attached drawing shows an example of the invention: Fig. 1 shows a vertical section of the furnace, Fig. 2 — part of the longitudinal section of the hopper and Fig. 3 — a vertical section of a different version of the furnace. The furnace A heats the boiler S, of a two-dimensional construction. The lower part of the combustion chamber is marked with the letter D. The combustible fines (fine coal) are supplied through one or more burners C in the vertical direction. Due to the draft In the chimney, the flame passes through the combustion chamber along a U-shaped path, and the combustion gases then envelop the heating surface of the boiler B. The openings for additional air in the front wall can be freely adjusted. The bottom of the fire chamber is made in the shape of a funnel, with side walls inclined at an angle greater than the angle of natural repose, so that the ash particles slide down under the influence of their weight to the bottom of chamber D. The internal surfaces 9 and 10 of the lower part of the chamber are covered with cooling devices. The drawing shows a series of pipes 11, densely arranged next to each other. The cooling medium, e.g. water, flows through these pipes. The U-pipes should be incorporated in an appropriate way into the water circuit. The upper ends of the pipes 11 lead to the collecting chambers 12 and the lower ends to the collecting chambers 13. The collecting chambers 12 are connected to the water chambers 14 of the boiler by means of pipes 15, and the lower chambers 13 to the water chambers of the boiler 16 by means of downpipes. In the examples of embodiment presented here, the pipes 11 are provided with ribs 18 (fig. 3), creating a more or less continuous cooling surface. A similar surface can also be made in any other way, e.g., by means of grooved inserts which cover the pipes 11 and which transfer the absorbed radiant heat to the pipes. Thanks to this, the ash and residues falling on the cooling surfaces during operation (of the furnace) are subject to a violent cooling. cooling so that the ash falls in the form of grains and, due to the strong inclination of the hopper wall, falls out of the combustion chamber. If some of the residue is retained on the cooled surface, which is almost not to be feared with strong ash cooling, this residue can be removed through the opening 19 in the combustion chamber wall above the lower part of the combustion chamber. The ash particles slide down to the bottom of the hopper without the need for any further measures. The described device has been advantageously used in combustion chambers with a vertically downward flame, because half of the combustion residue falls down when the flame returns. Since the cooling surface is exposed to the heat radiating from the flames, such large quantities of water are evaporated that the size corresponding to The size of a suitable boiler can be reduced, or the boiler's evaporation capacity is significantly increased. The invention is further characterized by the fact that the dead space of the combustion chamber is significantly reduced, because the flame can be brought closer to the bottom, as was the case in previous designs. The combustion chamber can therefore be smaller, or a larger amount of fines can be burned in the existing combustion chamber than was previously possible. The opening 20 in the bottom of hopper D is selected so that ash particles and smaller pieces of slag can easily pass through it. The ash discharge opening can be selected in any way, depending on the local and operating conditions. A trough 21 filled with ash is placed in front of the discharge opening 20 and serves at the same time as a tight valve for the bottom opening. Fig. 3 shows an alternative design of the cooling device, in which the pipes Ha cover not only the lower part but also the upper walls of the combustion chamber, thus cooling the walls in addition to the bottom. This allows for further reduction of the size of the combustion chamber or the heating surface of the boiler proper, while simultaneously protecting the vertical walls of the combustion chamber. In certain cases, it is desirable to use all the pipes 11, or 11a or part of them, as a superheater (steam); in this case, these pipes are connected to the steam space of the boiler. All the mentioned advantages The dolls are gaining even more importance thanks to the fact that the cooling device strongly stimulates the circulation of water in the boiler. PL PL PL
