Przedmiotem wzoru użytkowego jest taśma konstrukcyjna, służąca do produkcji przestrzennych urządzeń reklamowych lub ogłoszeniowych, a zwłaszcza małych liter podświetlanych. W praktyce powszechnie stosowane są podświetlane, przestrzenne urządzenia reklamowe, zaopatrzone w co najmniej jeden ekran, wykonany z przepuszczającego światło materiału. Za ekranem umieszczone jest źródło światła. W zależności od zapotrzebowania, reklamę można w całości nanieść na ekran lub stworzyć z kilku z nich moduł, np. w postaci napisu z podświetlanych liter. Zwłaszcza w przypadku podświetlanych liter, boki takich urządzeń wykonane są z taśmy podatnej na dowolne kształtowanie. Z opisu ochronnego Ru-61606 pt. „Taśma konstrukcyjna” znane jest rozwiązanie dotyczące taśmy konstrukcyjnej do produkcji urządzeń reklamowych, zawierającej zagięte do środka obie wzdłużne krawędzie. Wzdłuż tylnej krawędzi przyklejona jest prostokątna uszczelka, zaś wzdłuż przedniej krawędzi, dwukrotnie zagiętej po 180°, przebiega pasek. Pasek składa się z części prostej i przylegającej do niej małej zakładki, która wypełnia przestrzeń pomiędzy skrajem pierwszej zakładki a wewnętrzną powierzchnią drugiej krawędzi taśmy, przy czym pierwsza zakładka przylega do części prostej paska opartej na wewnętrznej powierzchni taśmy konstrukcyjnej.
