PL PL PLDescription of the Design: The subject of the utility model is a catamaran hull designed for recreational coastal and inland navigation. It is known from American patent application US5188049A, a catamaran consisting of two symmetrical displacement hulls with rounded bottoms. The displacement hulls of the catamaran are connected by a deck structure forming a tunnel between them, wherein the ratio of the minimum distance from the waterline to the bottom of the deck structure to the minimum tunnel width is approximately 1.0 : 2.0 to 1.0 : 2.5. Each hull has its sides joined together so as to form a bow having a half angle of from approximately 5° to 12° on and below the waterline, the ratio of the length of each hull on the waterline to the maximum breadth of each hull on the waterline being from approximately 9.88 : 1.0 to 10.92 : 1.0. Known from American patent application US3910214A is a shallow-draft sailing catamaran having hulls on the port and starboard sides mounted in a fixed relationship to each other, wherein the outer surface of each hull is convex and rounded in cross-section on its inner side, while on its outer side the outer surface of each hull is flat, which causes the hull to offer significant resistance to leeward motion. Known from American patent application US20070266921A1 is a catamaran having a pair of hulls placed side by side and a wing deck extending between the hulls, wherein the hulls have elements on their inner sides adapted to prevent the hulls from heeling. The inner sides of a catamaran are curved adjacent to the bows of the hulls. French patent FR3087743B1 describes a high-speed vessel hull consisting of a main central float and two shorter side floats, located aft of the central float and connected to it by arms. The aspect ratio of the side float hulls and the central float ranges from 0.25 to 0.35, with a length-to-width ratio of 12 to 20 and a ratio of the length of the central float hull to the length of the side float hulls of 2.5 to 4.5, with the connecting arms having wing-shaped fairings, forming two underbodies. Known from the Polish utility model application description PL111313, the catamaran features large, flat-bottomed, and wide buoyant hulls, set at an angle to each other and connected by transverse tubes that stiffen the structure. The catamaran is equipped with a tubular, two-column mast supported by the hulls, offset near the stern. The forward part of the hulls features hydrofoils with cutouts. The goal of the utility model was to develop a catamaran hull design that would ensure good maneuverability, stability, safe sailing, and optimal use of its internal usable space. The essence of a catamaran hull having two identical, symmetrical displacement floats, the lower part of which is bent towards the bottom in a side view, placed parallel to each other and rigidly connected to each other by a platform on the inner side, consists in the fact that the angle - the inclination of the stem to the design waterline of the displacement float, which in the longitudinal section in the vertical plane of the displacement float between the straight line passing through the design waterline and the straight line passing through the point of contact of the catamaran deck and the stem of the displacement float, and the point of intersection of the straight line perpendicular to the design waterline at the point of intersection of the design waterline and the stem of the displacement float and the straight line parallel to the design waterline passing through the starting point of the stem bent, determined by the theoretical line of the buoyancy float is 46–48°. The angle - the shape of the bow of the buoyancy float, which in the longitudinal section in the horizontal plane of the buoyancy float between the axis of symmetry of the buoyancy float and the straight line passing through the top of the bow of the buoyancy float and through the point located on the outer surface of the side of the buoyancy float, at the place of the greatest width of the buoyancy float (1), is from 4° to 6°. The bottoms of the buoyancy floats are flat with rounded side edges, and their side outlines have arcuate shapes. Thanks to the catamaran hull design developed during research, the yacht, based on the utility model, provides good handling and stability, as well as optimal use of its internal usable space. Because the angle of the stem inclination to the designed waterline of each displacement hull is negative, at 46–48°, the catamaran hull cuts through waves and sails faster while underway. Increasing the angle of the stem inclination to the designed waterline of each displacement hull above 48° would cause the bow to rise and fall more and cause it to ride on waves while underway, which would impair the yacht's sailing characteristics. However, reducing the angle below 46° would adversely affect the usable space inside the buoyancy hulls and increase the yacht's unusable space. The angle-shaped bow of the buoyancy hull, developed during research, allows for optimal usable space within the catamaran while maintaining the yacht's sporting characteristics. An angle below 4° will unfavorably narrow the buoyancy hulls, while increasing the angle above 6° will reduce the catamaran's speed. Furthermore, because the buoyancy hulls have flat bottoms with rounded side edges and arcuate side contours, the catamaran has good hydrodynamic properties and allows for easier planing while sailing. The subject of the utility model is shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the catamaran hull in a side view, Fig. 2 – the catamaran hull in a top view, Fig. 3 – the catamaran hull in a front perspective view, Fig. 4 – the catamaran hull in a bottom perspective view, Fig. 5 – a longitudinal section in a vertical plane of the displacement float from the bow side, Fig. 6 – a longitudinal section in a horizontal plane of the displacement float from the bow side, Fig. 7 – the catamaran hull in a rear view, and Fig. 8 – the catamaran hull in a bottom view. The catamaran hull has two identical, symmetrical displacement floats 1, the lower part of which, in a side view, has a bend towards the bottom, placed parallel to each other and rigidly connected to each other on the inner side by a platform 2. The outline of each displacement float 1 of the catamaran, in a top view, has an elliptical shape. Angle - inclination of the stem 3 to the design waterline W of the displacement float 1, which in the longitudinal section in the vertical plane of the displacement float 1 between the straight line 4 passing through the design waterline W and the straight line 5 passing through point A of the contact of the catamaran deck 6 and the stem 3 of the displacement float 1 and the point B of the intersection of the straight line 7 perpendicular to the design waterline W and passing through point C of the intersection of the design waterline W and the stem 3 of the displacement float 1 and the straight line 8 parallel to the design waterline W passing through the initial point of the waterline break determined by the theoretical line Y of the displacement float at a height of 31 cm above the design waterline W is 46–48°. The angle - shape of the bow of the buoyancy float 1, which in the longitudinal section in the horizontal plane of the buoyancy float 1 between the axis of symmetry X of the buoyancy float 1 and the straight line 9 passing through the vertex D of the bow of the buoyancy float 1 and through the point E located on the outer surface of the side of the buoyancy float 1, at the place of the greatest width of the buoyancy float 1, is from 4° to 6°, wherein the bottoms 10 of the buoyancy floats 1 are flat with rounded side edges, and their side outlines have arcuate shapes.
