REIVINDICAÇÕES 1. * -Processo para inibir a acumulação de polímero num permutador de calor durante a polimerização de alfa-olefinas em fase gasosa, caracterizado pelo facto de compreender a introdução de paraetoxiben-zoato de etilo a montante do permutador de calor numa quantidade suficiente para inibir a acumulação de polímero. 2. ‘-Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de as referidas alfa-olefinas polimerizadas serem copolímeros de polipropileno resistentes ao choque. !

15 3.*—Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de a quantidade de etoxibenzoato de sódio empregada estar compreendida dentro do intervalo de cerca de 5 a cerca de 20 partes em peso de etoxibenzoato de etilo por milhão de partes em peso de alfa-olefinas polimerizadas. 4. * —Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de a quantidade de etoxibenzoato de etilo empregada estar compreendida dentro do intervalo de cerca de 6 a cerca de 8 partes em peso de etoxibenzoato de etilo por milhão de partes em peso de alfa--olefinas polimerizadas. 5. ®-Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de se montar um compressor a montante do mencionado permutador de calor e se introduzir o citado etoxibenzoato de etilo a montante do referido compressor. 6. ®—Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de se montar um compressor a montante do referido permutador de calor e se introduzir o mencionado etoxibenzoato de etilo no citado compressor. 7. *—Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de se montar um compressor a montante do referido permutador de calor e se introduzir o mencionado etoxibenzoato de etilo entre o citado compressor e o referido permutador de calor. 8. * - Processo para inibir a acumulação de polímero num permutador de calor durante a polimerização de alfa-olefinas em fase gasosa de modo a obterem-se copolímeros de polipropileno resistentes ao choque, 16
caracterizado pelo facto de compreender a introdução de para-etoxibenzoato de etilo a montante do mencionado permutador de calor numa quantidade compreendida entre cerca de 5 e cerca de 20 partes em peso do citado etoxibenzoato de etilo por milhão de partes em peso dos referidos copolímeros de polipropileno resistentes ao choque. 9. *—Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 8, caracterizado pelo facto de se montar um compressor a montante do mencionado permutador de calor e se introduzir o citado etoxibenzoato de etilo no referido compressor.
