Invenţia se referă la derivaţi ciclopentadienil cu punte, cu formula generală I: A - X - B (I) în care: A este un radical hidrocarbil monofuncţional cu formula generală II: -X- este puntea dintre A şiB, care este formată dintr-un radical bifuncţional, ales dintre o grupă alchilen, o grupă silanilen, o grupă silalchilen substituită cu alchil, o grupă siloxasilanilen; B este un radical hidrocarbilmonofuncţional, ales dintre oricare dintre radicalii A, definiţi anterior, şi un radical ciclopentadienil.
