Abstract
1. Устройство отображения, содержащее: ! первое средство для отображения изображения, причем упомянутое первое средство отображения является отражательным; ! средство для обеспечения света, расположенное сзади от упомянутого первого средства отображения; ! первое средство для распространения света, расположенное с возможностью приема света от средства для обеспечения света; и ! второе средство для распространения света, расположенное спереди от упомянутого первого средства отображения, причем первое средство для распространения света оптически связано с вторым средством для распространения света, так что свет, излученный упомянутым первым средством для распространения света, направляется в упомянутое второе средство для распространения света, чтобы обеспечить фронтальную подсветку для первого средства отображения. ! 2. Устройство отображения по п.1, дополнительно содержащее второе средство для отображения изображения, причем второе средство для отображения расположено таким образом, что средство для обеспечения света расположено сзади от второго средства для отображения, и при этом средство для обеспечения света подсвечивает второе средство для отображения. ! 3. Claims (26)
1. Устройство отображения, содержащее:
первое средство для отображения изображения, причем упомянутое первое средство отображения является отражательным;
средство для обеспечения света, расположенное сзади от упомянутого первого средства отображения;
первое средство для распространения света, расположенное с возможностью приема света от средства для обеспечения света; и
второе средство для распространения света, расположенное спереди от упомянутого первого средства отображения, причем первое средство для распространения света оптически связано с вторым средством для распространения света, так что свет, излученный упомянутым первым средством для распространения света, направляется в упомянутое второе средство для распространения света, чтобы обеспечить фронтальную подсветку для первого средства отображения.
2. Устройство отображения по п.1, дополнительно содержащее второе средство для отображения изображения, причем второе средство для отображения расположено таким образом, что средство для обеспечения света расположено сзади от второго средства для отображения, и при этом средство для обеспечения света подсвечивает второе средство для отображения.
3. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое первое средство для распространения света содержит заднюю пластину, расположенную сзади от упомянутого первого средства для отображения.
4. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое первое средство для распространения света содержит один или более световодов.
5. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое второе средство для распространения света содержит оптическую пластину, лист или пленку.
6. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое второе средство для распространения света содержит подложку первого средства для отображения.
7. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое второе средство для распространения света содержит световод.
8. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое первое средство для отображения содержит множество элементов модуляции света.
9. Устройство отображения по п.8, в котором упомянутое множество элементов модуляции света содержит множество интерферометрических модуляторов.
10. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором упомянутое второе средство для распространения света содержит оптические элементы, конфигурированные для перенаправления упомянутого света, связанного с ними, на упомянутое первое средство для отображения.
11. Устройство отображения по п.10, в котором упомянутые оптические элементы содержат мини-призмы, микролинзы, голограмму, дифракционный оптический элемент или рассеиватель.
12. Устройство отображения по п.1, дополнительно содержащее
процессор, электрически связанный с упомянутым первым средством для отображения, причем упомянутый процессор конфигурирован для обработки данных изображения, и
устройство памяти, электрически связанное с упомянутым процессором.
13. Устройство отображения по п.12, дополнительно содержащее схему возбудителя, конфигурированную для передачи, по меньшей мере, одного сигнала, к упомянутому первому средству отображения.
14. Устройство отображения по п.13, дополнительно содержащее контроллер, конфигурированный для передачи, по меньшей мере, части упомянутых данных изображения на упомянутую схему возбуждения.
15. Устройство отображения по п.1, в котором первое средство распространения света содержит первую часть световода, причем второе средство распространения света содержит вторую часть световода.
16. Способ изготовления устройства отображения, причем способ содержит этапы, на которых:
обеспечивают первый дисплей, при этом указанный первый дисплей является отражательным,
обеспечивают источник света, расположенный сзади от указанного первого дисплея,
обеспечивают один или более первых световодов, расположенных с возможностью приема света от источника света, и
обеспечивают второй источник света спереди от первого дисплея таким образом, что один или более первых световодов оптически связаны со вторым световодом, так что свет, испускаемый одним или более первых световодов, направляется на второй световод для обеспечения передней подсветки указанного первого дисплея.
17. Способ по п.16, в котором дополнительно обеспечивают второй дисплей так, что указанный источник света расположен сзади от второго дисплея, при этом источник света подсвечивает указанный второй дисплей.
18. Способ по п.16, в котором один или более первых световодов содержит заднюю пластину, расположенную сзади от первого средства отображения.
19. Способ по п.16, в котором упомянутый второй световод содержит оптическую пластину, лист или пленку.
20. Способ по п.16, в котором указанный второй световод содержит подложку первого дисплея.
21. Способ по п.16, в котором первый дисплей содержит множество элементов модуляции света.
22. Способ по п.21, в котором упомянутое множество элементов модуляции света содержит множество интерферометрических модуляторов.
23. Способ по п.16, в котором второй световод включает оптические элементы, конфигурированные для перенаправления упомянутого света, связанного с ними, на упомянутый первый дисплей.
24. Способ по п.23, в котором указанные оптические элементы включают минипризмы, микролинзы, дифракционный оптический элемент или рассеиватель.
25. Устройство отображения, содержащее:
первый дисплей, при этом указанный первый дисплей является отражательным,
источник света, расположенный сзади от указанного первого дисплея,
один или более первых световодов, расположенных с возможностью приема света от источника света, и
один или более вторых световодов, расположенных спереди от первого дисплея, так что один или более световодов оптически связаны с одним или более вторых световодов так, что свет, испускаемый одним или более первых световодов, направляется на один или более второй световодов для обеспечения передней подсветки указанного первого дисплея.
26. Устройство отображения по п.25, дополнительно содержащее второй дисплей, расположенный таким образом, что источник света расположен сзади от второго дисплея, при этом источник света обеспечивает подсветку второго дисплея.
