Abstract

In a device for recovering wheeled vehicles there is an elongated element (1, 7) movably connected to the recovering vehicle for lifting the front part of a vehicle to be recovered for towing thereof. The elongated element has two members, namely a second (1) pivotably connected to the recovering vehicle about a second axis (3) and a first member (7) pivotably connected to the second member about a first axis in parallel with the second pivot axis and intended to be equipped with means for lifting front portions of a vehicle to be recovered. At least a second power means (9) is arranged to act between the recovering vehicle and the second member (1) and one first power means (10) to act between the second member (1) and the first member (7) for moving the first member (7) with respect to the recovering vehicle.
