The installation works as follows.
13.A mold 7 and a cover 9 are installed on the metal reservoir 6. A gas burner (not shown) is installed in the hole 18. The device 10 is filled with a modifier. Heat metal receiver to the required temperature. A blank 8 is clamped into the cavity of the mold 7 and clamped with a rolling stand 3. Gas is supplied to the gas supplying tuyere 15. From the casting ladle (not shown), liquid iron is poured into bowl II. At the same time include the metering device 16 and serves modifier 8 in the reaction section 13. The melt through the tangential Gating course 12 enters the reaction section 13.
The inert gas through the gas supply tuyere 15 fills the reaction section 13 and creates a gas-shielding cavitation flow. The melt fills the reaction section 13 and creates a vortex flow in which the modifier starts to dissolve. This process continues with the vortex of the melt-melt and the cavitation flow behind the shield gas in the reaction section until the modifier is completely dissolved. Melt

Период заливки чугуна устанавливают в зависимости от расхода металла через кристаллизатор 7 таким образом, чтобы уровень металла в металлоприемнике 6 не опустилс ниже входного отверсти кристаллизатора 7 и не закончилось врем действи модификатора.through the drain hole 14 is poured into the metal receiver 6, from where it enters the mold 7, where it is welded to the seed 8. After the required holding time, turn on the drive 4, which drives the pulling stand 3 and the seed 8, and 7, an ingot (not shown) is pulled out according to a predetermined mode. Depending on the metal consumption through the mold 7, the cast iron casting period is set so that the level of the metal in the metal receiver 6 does not drop below the inlet of the mold 7 and the modifier action time does not expire.
The reaction section 13, in which the modification takes place, is designed in such a way that the melt supplied to the reaction section creates a vortex flow, and the inert gas supplied through the gas supplying tuyere 15 from the opposite side creates a gas-protective cavitation flow. The modifier from the metering device 16 is introduced in the local gas-cavitation flow, where the melt is modified. The melt thus modified is transported in the vortex flow of the reaction section.
Example. Prepare billets from cast iron in a continuous casting plant containing a frame, roller tables, a rolling stand, an actuator, a mechanism for breaking billets, a metal receiver with a lid, a mold and a seed. Metal receiver is equipped with a device for induction heating of the metal. The lid is stuffed with a multitorkundum mass MK-80. In this case, using a wooden template, a casting thicket, a reaction section of 0200 mm with a tangential iron supply and a drain hole of 034 mm are made. On the opposite side, nitrogen is pressed tangentially with the help of a gas-powered lance under a pressure of 1.5 atm. The metering hopper is filled with the LCM-2 ligature, crushed to a fraction of 0.5-2 mm. The starting cast iron is melted in the ICT-10 induction furnace, and before filling it is treated in a ladle with a ligature of FSGSM b in an amount of 0.2%. Liquid iron is fed into the pouring bowl at a flow rate of 10 kg / s, from where it passes through a runner gate to the reaction section, where nitrogen is fed through the gas lance and the LCD-2 ligature from the metering hopper at a flow rate of 0.15 kg / s. Cast iron and nitrogen supplied tangentially into the reaction section create vortex, gas-shielding, cavitation flows that interact with the ligature supplied from the metering device. The treated melt enters the cavity of the metal receiver, from where it goes to the mold, where it solidifies
