Such combination-based antimicrobials are suitable for treating cultivated plants and plant propagation materials such as seeds. The combination of plant antimicrobials. 4-(2,2-difluoro-1,3-benzodioxin 7-yl-1H-pyrol-3-carbonitrile) and the plant-based antimicrobial agent 1,2,5,6-tetrahydro-4H-pyrolol[3,2,1-ij]-quinolin-4-one result in improved activity in controlling plant diseases by using a combination of agents with reduced activity. Such combination-based antimicrobial agents are suitable for treating cultivated plants and plant propagation materials such as seeds.

Claims

1. The composition of a plant-based antimicrobial agent consists of at least two active ingredients, where one ingredient I) is 4-(2,2-difluoro-1,3-benzodioxol-7-yl)-1H-pyro-3-carbonitrile(fluodioxonil) of formula (II) and the other ingredient II) is 1,2,5,6-tetrahydro-4H-pyrolo[3,2,1-ij]quinolin-4-one(pyroquinolon) of formula (II) together with a suitable carrier material (chemical formula) (I) (chemical formula) (II).

2. The elements under claim 1 where the weight ratio of I:II = from 10:1 to 1:100.
