Claims (16)

1. Compounds of formula (I) and their pharmaceutically accepted salts or solvates: (chemical formula) (I) 2. Compounds of formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates of such compounds, as entitled under claim 1, for therapeutic use. 3. Pharmaceutically acceptable compounds, salts, solvates or esters of those substances that are biodegradable under Patent 1 for use as pharmaceuticals for the treatment of asthma, allergic rhinitis, COPD, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritic disease, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis or psoriasis. 4. Pharmaceutically acceptable compounds, salts, solvates or esters thereof that are biodegradable under Patent 1 for use as a pharmaceutical for the treatment of cancer. 5. Use of the compounds of formula (I), or the pharmaceutically accepted salts or solvates of such compounds, as entitled under claim 1, in the manufacture of medicines for therapeutic use. 6. The use of compounds of formula (I), or pharmaceutically accepted salts or solvates of such compounds, as entitled under claim 1, in the manufacture of drugs for the treatment of chemokine-mediated disease in which the chemokine binds to one or more chemokine receptors. 7. Use of the compounds of Formulation (I), or the pharmaceutically accepted salts or solvates of such compounds, as entitled under Claim 1, in the manufacture of medicines for the treatment of diseases caused by inflammation in patients suffering from, or at risk of, such diseases. 8. Use of the compounds of formula (I), or their pharmaceutically accepted salts or solvates, as entitled under claim 1, in the manufacture of medicines for the treatment of a disease in which angiogenesis is associated with elevated levels of CXCR2 chemokines, or is at risk of, such disease. 9. Procedure for the preparation of a compound of formula (I) which involves the reaction of a compound of formula (II): (chemical formula) (II) in which R is C1-6 alkyl with an acid, and after which a selectively obtained salt is produced that is accepted for pharmaceutical purposes. 10. The use of a compound of Formulation (1) or any pharmaceutically accepted salt, solvate or ester of such compounds that are biodegradable, or a pharmaceutical mixture or formulation containing a compound of Formulation (1), in the manufacture of a drug for combination therapy with another therapeutic agent and/or another pharmaceutical agent. 11. Use as claimed under claim 10 for the treatment of asthma, allergic rhinitis, COPD, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, arthritic disease, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, or psoriasis. 12. Use as entitled under claim 10 for cancer treatment. 13. A pharmaceutical mixture containing compounds of formulation (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates of such compounds, as entitled under claim 1, together with pharmaceutically acceptable adjuvants, diluents or carriers. 14. Pharmaceutical mixtures as claimed under claim 13 for the treatment of asthma, allergic rhinitis, COPD, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, arthritic disease, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, or psoriasis. 15. Pharmaceutical mixtures as entitled under claim 13 for the treatment of cancer. 16. A procedure for the preparation of pharmaceutical mixtures as provided for in Claim 13, which includes the mixing of compounds of formulation (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates of such compounds, as provided for in Claim 1, together with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients, diluents or carriers.
