Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et une machine pour la formation d'une caisse (C) à partir d'un flan (1) dans lequel on extrait par aspiration le flan à partir d'un magasin (30) de stockage, on amène le flan à l'horizontal au-dessus d'un support (43) présentant une arête supérieure de section transversale en V et des faces correspondantes aux volets principaux inclinées par rapport à l'horizontal d'un angle α déterminé, de sorte que la ligne de pliage centrale dit de référence, soit en vis à vis de arête, on dépose le flan (1) sur le support (43), on applique ensuite le<br /> flan sur un mandrin polygonal (47) dont l'arrête supérieure coïncide et/ou est dans le prolongement de l'arrête supérieure du support, ledit mandrin étant de forme complémentaire à celle de la caisse, pour former un corps de caisse tubulaire en biais par rapport à l'horizontal, on forme le fond de la caisse par pliage et application des rabats les uns sur les autres après encollage, on éjecte la caisse en biais ainsi formée, on la redresse puis on la transfert à un poste de remplissage.
