Konjüge/eslenik dienlerin polimerizasyonunda etkili olan ve LnX3'ün asagidakilerden seçilen en az bir lityum bilesigi ile reaksiyonu sonucunda elde edilen lantanid kompleksleri tarif edilmektedir: (i) Li (A), Li (A)/LnX3 moler orani 1.5 ila 2.5 arasinda bulunur; (ii) LiLn(A)4, LiLn(A)4/LnX3 moler orani 0.5 ila 1.5 arasinda bulunur; burada Ln lantanidlerin her hangi birisinden seçilir; X halürler, karboksilatlar, alkolatlar, -N(Rx) (Ry)'den seçilir ve burada Rx ve Ry ayni veya farkli olabilir ve C1-C5 alkil radikalleridir; A asagida belirtilen genel formülü havi bir alil radikalidir: burada R1, R2, R3, R4 ve R5 ayni veya farkli olabilir ve hidrojen ve C1-C10 alkil radikallerinden
