Abstract

Bu bulus, meyve olgunlasmasini ve dayanikligini artirmak ve meyve ve diger bitki dokularinda yaslanmayi geciktirmek için bir yöntemle ilgilidir. Bu yöntem, meyvelere ve diger bitki dokularina, lisofosfatidiletanolamin (18:1) (kisaca''LFE(18:1)'') veya lisofosfatidilinositol (kisaca''LFI'') gibi bir lisofosfolipidin etkili bir miktarinin tatbik edilmesini içerir. LFE(18:1) ve LFI gibi lisofosfolipidlerin, yaslanmayi geciktirmede ve bitki yaslanmasi sirasinda membran bozunmasina aracilik eden anahtar bir enzim olan fosfolipaz D nin inhibe edilmesinde,diger lipofosfolipidlerden üstün oldugu bulundu. LFE (18:1) ve LFI dogal olarak bulunan ve çevre açisindan güvenli maddelerdir. Bunlar, çiçeklerin, meyvelerin ve yapraklarin yaslanmasini yavaslatmak ve meyve olgunlasmasini artirmak için halen kullanilmakta olan çevresel açidan toksik pek çok madde yerine kullanilabilirler.
