Gastro-intestinal yollarinin asgari düzeyde yan etkilere maruz kalmasina sebebiyet verecek sekilde, gastro-intestinal yollarin kanserlerinin tedavisine yönelik ilaçlarin hazirlanmasi için kamptotesin kurüvlerinin kullanilmasi olup, sözü geçen ilacin uygulanmasi esnasinda veya böyle bir uygulamadan önce ve böyle bir uygulama esnasinda bir sodyum klorür solüsyonunun uygulanmasi ile tanimlanir.
