Bir klavülanik asit üreten mikroorganizmanin kontrol edilen en az 50 mg/l'lik amonyak düzeyinde mayalanmasi ile klavülanik asitin üretilmesi için bir yöntem tedarik edilmistir. Bu tepkime kosullarinin uygulanmasi ile, sasirtici olarak yüksek üretim düzeylerinde klavülanik asit elde edilmistir.
