Isıtıcıdan (4) pişirme hacmine (V) ve/veya bek tablasına (7) yayılan ısı miktarını kontrol etmek için, ısıtıcının üstüne ve/veya altına, kanatçıklara (6) sahip olan bir perde (5) yerleştirilmiştir. Kanatçıkların (6) açısı değiştirilerek kanatçıklar asındaki açıklık, jaluzi veya Venedik storuna benzer şekilde artırılabilir ve/veya azaltılabilir. Perdeden (5) geçen ısı miktarı, perdenin (5) açılma derecesine bağlıdır. Pişirme hacmindeki veya bek tablasındaki sıcaklığı bir kontrol cihazı kontrol edebilir.
