Abstract
Buluş formüle (I) ait travoprostun hazırlanışına yönelik, formül (II) bileşiğinin stereoselektif bir şekilde indirgenmesini, ortaya çıkan formül (III) bileşiğinin istenmesi halinde kristalize edilmesini, formül (III) bileşiğinin lakton grubunun indirgenmesini, böylece elde edilen formül (IV) bileşiğinin p-fenil-benzoil koruma grubunun uzaklaştırılmasını, ortaya çıkan formül (V) triolünün, kristalizasyondan sonra istenmesi halinde, Wittig reaksiyonu aracılığıyla, akabinde esterleştirilecek olan, formül (VI) asidine dönüştürülmesini içeren bir proses ile ilgilidir.
