200930706 九、發明說明 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係有關高收率氧化含烯烴類雙鍵之環氧化用氧 化劑組成物及其氧化方法。 【先前技術】 環氧化合物係適用於樹脂、塗料、醫藥、農藥、電子 0 材料等各種領域之原料,於環氧化合物之製造中有幾許方 法。其中最一般者如:使環氧氯丙烷等與醇類之反應方法 (如:專利文獻1)。此等環氧化合物雖含雜質,而其價 廉、且適於大量生產,故用於極多領域。惟,此等環氧化 合物無法完全去除源於原料之鹵素原子,因此被期待一種 由戴奧辛問題等至鹵素原子均無之環氧化合物。 又,作爲其他方法者,有使用過氧化氫、過乙酸等之 過氧化化合物之方法(如:專利文獻2、3)。使用此等 〇 氧化劑後,雖避開鹵素原子之混入,惟收率不良,特別是 有大量產生二醇類之副產物之問題存在❶ 專利文獻1 :特開平05-017463號公報 專利文獻2:特開平05-213919號公報 專利文獻3:特開平06-1 7 2 335號公報 【發明內容】 因此’爲解決本發明課題,本發明目的以提供一種可 以高收率得到不含鹵素原子之環氧化合物之烯烴類的環氧 -5- 200930706 化方法。 本發明進行精密硏討結果發現’可有效進行氧化反應 之氧化劑組成物,進而完成本發明。亦即,本發g月2特徵 爲含有溶於水時顯現鹼性之過氧化物與酸酐之 氧化用氧化劑組成物。 本發明之效果係提供一種可以高收率得到不含齒素原 子之環氧化合物之氧化方法。 〇 【實施方式】 〔發明實施之最佳形態〕 首先,針對用於本發明之酸酐進行說明。酸酐大致分 爲:含有2分子之羰基之化合物爲脫水縮合者,與i分子 中具有2個以上羰基之化合物爲分子內脫水縮合者,之2 種構造。本發明中此兩者酸酐均可使用,此等可以下述一 般式(1)及一般式(2)示之。 〇 [化 1]

⑵ -6- 200930706 (R3代表含有氧原子亦可之烴基。) 作爲一般式(I)所示之酸酐例者’如:甲酸、乙酸 、丙酸、丁酸(酪酸)、戊酸(吉草酸)、異戊酸(異吉 草酸)、己酸(caproic acid )、庚酸、異庚酸、辛酸( caprylic acid) 、2-乙基己酸、異辛酸、壬酸(pelargonic acid)、異壬酸、癸酸(capric acid)、異癸酸、--酸 、異十一酸、十二酸(月桂酸)、異月桂酸、十三酸、異 Q 十三酸、十四酸(肉豆蔻酸)、十五酸(棕櫚酸)、十八 酸(硬脂酸)、異硬脂酸、油酸等單羧酸相互進行脫水縮 合者之例。此等可爲相同之單羧酸相互進行脫水縮合物, 亦可爲不同類之單體酸相互進行之脫水縮合物者,惟,由 廣泛被使用製造容易面視之,又以相同之單羧酸相互之脫 水縮合物者較爲理想。作爲相同之單羧酸相互之脫水縮合 物者,如:甲酸酐、乙酸酐、丙酸酐、丁酸酐、戊酸酐、 己酸酐、辛酸酐、癸酸酐、月桂酸酐、辛癸酸酐等例,而 〇 此等中又以分子量小的R1及R2爲氫原子或碳數1〜4者 宜,較佳者爲甲酸酐、乙酸酐、丙烯酸酐,更佳者爲乙酸 酐其最被廣泛使用且穩定性亦高。當分子量大則每單位質 量之羧酸量變少,配合量變多導致經濟面不理想,反之分 子量變大將不易經由水洗去除’反應結束後的精製困難。 作爲一般式(2)所示之酸酐者如:號拍酸酐、馬來 酸酐、鄰苯二甲酸酐、偏苯二甲酸酐、均苯四甲酸酐、氫 化鄰苯二甲酸酐等例,而由相同於上述理由,R3爲碳數2 〜6之烴基者宜,更佳者爲琥珀酸酐、馬來酸酐' 鄰苯二 -7- 200930706 甲酸酐。 接著,針對溶於水時’顯示鹼性之過氧化物,進行說 明。該過氧化物中,如:過碳酸鈉、過碳酸鉀、過硼酸鈉 、過硼酸鉀、過氧化鈉、過氧化鉀、過氧化鈣、過氧化鎂 、過氧化鋰、過氧化鋇、過氧化鉋等例。此等中又以過碳 酸鹽或過硼酸鹽,其環氧化效果較高爲較佳,更由其經濟 面較理想者,又以過碳酸鈉爲更佳者。 〇 本發明之環氧化用氧化劑組成物爲含有該過氧化物與 酸酐,而其配合比例對於1莫耳酸酐而言,以配合0.4〜2 莫耳之過氧化物者宜,更佳者爲配合0.5〜1.2莫耳。當 對於酸酐而言,其過氧化_物之量太多或太少時,將導致氧 化反應之鈍化。 其中,針對溶於水時,使用顯示鹼性之過氧化物之理 由,進行說明。本發明環氧化反應中,如:使用過碳酸鈉 與乙酸酐時,過碳酸鈉作用於乙酸酐後,生成乙酸與過乙 〇 酸,所生成之過乙酸作用於烯烴,過乙酸變成乙酸,烯烴 被氧化,作爲該副生成物者,雖生成源於酸酐之脂肪酸, 而脂肪酸對於環氧化反應,所生成之環氧化合物爲不利的 作用物質,如:脂肪酸與所生成之環氧化合物進行反應後 致使環氧環開環等之不良影響產生。惟,過碳酸鈉等溶於 水時,顯示鹼性,故中和阻礙反應之脂肪酸後不引起反應 阻礙。藉由此,容易得到純度高的環氧化合物。反之,變 更過碳酸鈉等,溶解於過氧化脲等水中時,使用顯示中性 之過氧化物,使二環戊二烯等之內部烯烴進行環氧化時, -8 - 200930706 所生成之環氧化合物之反應性低,故不易與副生成物之脂 肪酸進行反應,雖較可高收率進行環氧化,惟,雙鍵於末 端之烯烴等進行環氧化後,生成反應性良好之環氧化合物 ,故與副生成物之脂肪酸反應後其反應率變差。而本發明 之環氧化用氧化劑組成物,未選擇烯烴之種類,對於內部 烯烴、末端烯烴亦可同樣的得到高純度之環氧化物。 可用於本發明之烯烴類係指,只要具有雙鍵之有機化 ❹ 合物,不管末端烯烴、或內部烯烴均可,分子中的雙鍵爲 1個或2個以上均可,而,1分子中具有2個以上內部烯 烴者,1分子中具有1個以上內部烯烴及1個以上末端烯 烴者,於既存之環氧化用氧化劑中不易環氧化,故此等烯 烴類作爲用於本發明環氧化用氧化劑組成物之烯烴類者宜 。又,亦可被羥基、羰基等之取代基進行取代。本申請中 ,於1分子烯烴中存在η個雙鍵時,將此定義爲n當量之 烯烴。總之,具有1個雙鍵之烯烴稱爲1當量之烯烴,具 〇 有2個烯烴稱爲2當量烯烴。 作爲該烯烴類者如:1-己烯、1-癸烯、1-月桂烯、環 己烯、油醇、苯乙烯、烯丙醇等之單烯烴;二乙烯苯、二 環戊二烯、檸檬烯等之二烯烴;其他3官能以上之聚烯烴 等例。一般,分子內具2個以上雙鍵之化合物,內部烯烴 相對於具有1個雙鍵之化合物,末端烯烴,前者較不易環 氧化,而本發明氧化劑組成物,即使爲此等化合物,仍無 副生成物,可輕易進行環氧化,更得到之環氧化合物之反 應性良好,與其他物質反應後,收率亦不會下降。 -9- 200930706 本發明之氧化方法係使溶於水時,顯示驗性之過氧化 物與酸酐及烯烴類進行混合後,使烯烴類之雙鍵氧化後進 行環氧化之方法。反應時的溶媒可有可無,而反應系爲高 黏著、呈固體時,無法均勻進行反應,又,由容易控制反 應熱之面觀之,以溶媒稀釋後進行反應者宜。作爲可使用 之溶媒例者,可使用如:甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、異丙醇、丁 醇、異丁醇、2級丁醇、第三丁醇、戊醇、異戊醇、2級 〇 戊醇、新戊醇、第三戊醇、己醇、2級己醇、庚醇、2級 庚醇、辛醇、2-乙基己醇等之醇類;苯、甲苯、二甲苯等 之芳香族類;己烷、庚烷、癸烷、環己烷等之脂肪族烴基 、脂環烴基;乙酸乙酯、乙酸丙酯、乙酸丁酯等之酯系溶 劑;水等。此等溶媒中,由其反應結束後經由水洗進行精 製時,之易於精製之面觀之,又以芳香族類、脂肪族烴類 、脂環烴類、水爲較佳者,更佳者爲甲苯、二甲苯、己烷 、水。 〇 溶於水時顯示鹼性之過氧化物與酸酐可同時混合於烯 烴類中,亦可分別進行混合。 氧化烯烴類時之本發明環氧化用氧化劑組成物之配合 比對於1莫耳η當量之烯烴類而言,亦可配合η莫耳以上 之過氧化物,較佳者配合η〜1〇η莫耳,更佳者配合2η〜 6η。當過氧化物之配合比少於η莫耳時,則烯烴之環氧化 將完全鈍化。 反應溫度爲20〜100 °C者宜,較佳者爲40〜80 °C,更 佳者爲50〜60 °C。當反應溫度未達20 °C時,則反應速度 -10- 200930706 變慢,反應無法完全終止,反之超出10 0 °c時,恐有過氧 化物劇烈分解後造成危險。反應爲1〜3 0小時,較佳者2 〜20小時,使系內攪拌進行即可。 〔實施例〕 藉由實施例,進行以下本發明之具體說明。又,以下 之實施例等中%及ppm在無特別限制下爲質量基準。另外 D ,下述之分析中「GC純度」係指,經由氣體層析法所測 定之純度。以下記載測定條件。 <氣體層析法測定條件> 機器:GC-15A (島津製作所製) 柱體:DB-1 ( 15m毛細柱體)

噴射溫度:280°C 〇 柱體溫度:150〜270°C (以10°C /分進行昇溫) 〔實施例1〕 將檸檬烯(1.36g、lOmmol )溶於乙酸丁酯(25 ml) ,加入含有過碳酸鈉(l〇.5g、66.7mmol )及乙酸酐( l〇.2g、lOOmmol )之組成物,於60t下進行攪拌。12小 時後,使反應液以水洗淨,完全去除副生成之乙酸及乙酸 鈉、殘留之H202。由有機相使乙酸丁酯經由蒸餾進行餾 去,取得1.66g (收率99%)之GC純度100%之檸檬烯二 -11 - 200930706 環氧化物。 〔實施例2〕 將檸檬烯(1.36g、1 Ommol )溶於甲苯(25ml),加 入含有過碳酸鈉(l〇.5g、66.7mmol)及鄰苯二甲酸酐( 14.8g、lOOmmol)之組成物,於60°C下進行攪拌。12小 時後以水洗淨反應液,使副生成之鄰苯二甲酸、鄰苯二甲 ❹ 酸鈉及鄰苯二甲酸二鈉、殘留之112〇2完全去除。由有機 相使甲苯經由蒸餾餾去,取得GC純度100%之檸檬烯二 環氧化物(1.66g,收率99% )。 〔實施例3〕 將檸檬酸(l_36g、lOmmol )溶於甲苯(25ml ),加 入含有過硼酸鈉4水合物(15.4g、lOOmmol )及乙酸酐( 10_2g、lOOmmol)之組成物,60°C下進行攪拌。12小時 G 後,以水洗淨反應液,使副生成之乙酸及乙酸鈉、殘留之 H2o2完全去除。由有機相經由蒸餾使甲苯餾去,取得 1.63g (收率97%)之GC純度98%之檸檬酸二環氧化物。 〔實施例4〕 將二環戊二烯(1.32g、lOmmol)溶於甲苯(25ml) ,加入含有過碳酸鈉(l〇.5g、66.7mmol )及乙酸酐( 10.2g、lOOmmol)之組成物,於60°C下進彳了攪拌。12小 時後,以水洗淨反應液,使副生成之乙酸及乙酸鈉、殘留 -12- 200930706 之H2o2完全去除。由有機相經由蒸餾使甲苯餾去,取得 1.62g (收率99%)之GC純度100%之二環戊二烯二環氧 化物。 〔實施例5〕 將1-月桂烯(1.68g、lOmrnol )溶於甲苯(25ml ) ’ 加入含有過碳酸鈉(l〇.5g、66.7mmol )及乙酸酐(l〇,2g 〇 、lOOmmol )之組成物,於60°C下進行攪拌。12小時後 ,以水洗淨反應液,使副生成之乙酸及乙酸鈉、殘留之 H2o2完全去除。由有機相經由蒸餾使甲苯餾去’取得 1.82§(收率99%)之0(:純度1〇〇%之1-月桂烯單環氧化 物。 〔實施例6〕 將檸檬烯(1.36g、1 Ommol )溶於乙酸丁酯(25ml) Ο ,加入含有過碳酸鈉(60g、38.1mmol)及乙酸酐(10.2g 、lOOmmol )之組成物,於60°C下進行攪拌。12小時後 _ ,以水洗淨反應液,使副生成之乙酸及乙酸鈉、殘留之 H202完全去除。由有機相經由蒸餾使乙酸丁醋餾去,取 得1.63芭(收率97%)之0(:純度97%之檸檬烯二環氧化 物。 〔比較例1〕 上述實施例1之實驗方法中’加入乙酸(12g: -13- 200930706 卻完全未反應, 200mmol)取代乙酸酐,同法進行反應, 99%之原料被回收。 〔比較例2〕 60%過氧化氫( 隹行反應。檸檬 醇(開環物)之 上述實施例1之實驗方法中,加入 3.78g: 66.7mmol)取代過碳酸鈉,同法3 嫌二環氧化物之收率爲78%、檸檬嫌二甘 0 收率爲18%,原料之檸檬烯爲4%被回收。 〔比較例3〕 氧化脲(6 · 3 g : 。檸檬烯二環氧 收率爲1 2 %、開 上述實施例1之實驗方法中,加入過 66,7mmol)取代過碳酸鈉,同法進行反應 化物之收率爲75%、檸檬烯單環氧化物之 環聚合物爲1 3 %。 φ 〔比較例4〕 氧化脲(6.3 g : 。1-月桂烯單環 上述實施例5之實驗方法中,加入過 66.7mmol)取代過碳酸鈉,同法進行反應 氧化物之收率爲50%、開環聚合物爲50% 〔產業上可利用性〕 不含鹵素原子之 塗料、醫藥、農 藉由使用本發明後,可以高收率得到 環氧化合物。該環氧化合物適用於樹脂、 藥、電子材料等之各種領域。 -14-
