本申請案主張在韓國智慧財產局中,在2014年1月29日申請之韓國專利申請案第10-2014-0011500號的優先權,且該申請案之揭露內容在此全部加入作為參考。
背景 1.發明領域
本發明係有關於一種超吸收聚合物(SAP)切割裝置以及使用該SAP切割裝置製備超吸收聚合物之方法。
2.相關技術之說明
超吸收聚合物(SAP)係一種可吸收其本身重量500至1000倍之水的合成聚合物,且被不同製造商不同地稱為,例如,「超吸收材料」(SAM)或「吸收膠材料」(AGM)等。該SAP在衛生用品方面已開始商品化且除了如一嬰兒用紙尿片之衛生配件以外,目前已被廣泛地使用於一用於園藝之水組合土壤、一用於土木工程及建築之止水材料、一育苗片(nursery sheet)、一食品流通領域中之保鮮劑、一 泥罨劑材料等。
一反相懸浮聚合法或一水溶液聚合法是一製備SAP之習知方法。例如,該反相懸浮聚合法揭露在日本專利申請案第(昭)56-161408、(昭)57-158209及(昭)57-198714號公報中。作為該水溶液聚合法,藉由加熱聚合一聚合物膠之一熱聚合法,及藉由施加UV光聚合一水溶液之一光聚合法等是習知的。
通常,一SAP產物可藉在一聚合程序後,對一SAP材料進行切割、粉碎、乾燥、壓碎及表面處理/分類程序獲得。但是,如果在該粉碎程序中藉一擠出機或一揉捏機粉碎該SAP材料,則該SAP材料會附著在該擠出機或揉捏機之一旋轉螺桿上,且因此不會被均勻地粉碎,因而降低該乾燥程序之效率。
此外,如果藉該乾燥程序獲得之SAP顆粒形成多數團塊,則會需要另一粉碎程序。因此,會產生差異,因而伴隨品質下降及產品損失。
為解決上述問題,必須在將一SAP放入一粉碎機前切割該SAP。
概要
本發明之示範實施例提供可提供均一粉碎之SAP的超吸收聚合物(SAP)切割裝置以及使用該SAP切割裝置製備SAP之方法。
但是,本發明之示範實施例不限於在此所述者。 藉由參照以下提供之本發明的詳細說明,本發明所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者可更了解本發明之以上及其他示範實施例。
依據本發明之一示範實施例,一種SAP切割裝置包括:一進料單元,一SAP被送入該進料單元中;一第一切割器,其初次地切割該SAP;一第二切割器,其二次地切割該SAP;及一釋出單元,其釋出已該被切割之SAP。
該SAP可呈一片狀。
該第一切割器可沿平行於該SAP之一進料方向的一方向切割該SAP。
該第一切割器可為一輥式切割器。
該輥式切割器可包括多數刀且可與該SAP之該進料方向一致地旋轉。
該SAP切割裝置亦可包括多數輔助刀或溝槽,該等輔助刀或溝槽係形成為分別對應於該等多數刀,且該SAP中介於其間。
該第二切割器可沿垂直於該SAP之進料方向之一方向切割該SAP。
該第二切割器可包括執行一直線往復運動之一刀。
該SAP切割裝置亦可包括一輔助刀或溝槽,該輔助刀或溝槽係形成為對應於該第二切割器之該刀,且該SAP中介於其間。
依據本發明之另一示範實施例,一種製備SAP 之方法包括:聚合一SAP;將該SAP送入該SAP切割裝置之該進料單元中;以一第一切割器及一第二切割器切割該SAP;及釋出該已被切割之SAP。
該方法亦可包括:乾燥該已被釋出之SAP;及粉碎該乾燥之SAP。
依據該等示範實施例,藉使用一SAP切割裝置,可減少一粉碎程序之負載及會由過度粉碎造成之對交聯聚合環的破壞。因此,可提供一極佳SAP。

圖1係依據本發明一示範實施例之一超吸收聚合 物(SAP)切割裝置的示意立體圖;圖2係沿圖1之線A-A'所截取的示意橫截面圖,顯示依據圖1之示範實施例之SAP切割裝置;圖3係沿圖1之線B-B'所截取的示意橫截面圖,顯示依據圖1之示範實施例之SAP切割裝置;且圖4係沿圖1之線B-B'所截取的示意橫截面圖,顯示本發明之另一示範實施例之一SAP切割裝置。
請參閱圖1至4,一SAP切割裝置100包括:一進料單元110,其可在一支持件160上移動且一SAP150被送入該進料單元110中;一第一切割器120,其初次地切割被送入該進料單元110中之該SAP150;一第二切割器130,其二次地切割該初次切割SAP;及一釋出單元140,其釋出該二次切割SAP。
該支持件160可包括,但不限於,用以傳送該SAP150之一輸送帶或二或二以上輸送帶。在該支持件160包括二或二以上輸送帶之情形中,在該二或二以上輸送帶間之連接可對應於該第一切割器120及/或該第二切割器130。
該第一切割器120可沿平行於該SAP150之一進料方向的一方向切割該SAP150。該第一切割器120可為,例如,一輥式切割器。更詳而言之,該第一切割器120可包括多數圓形刀122及連接該等圓形刀122之一中心軸構件121。該中心軸構件121可與一驅動單元(未圖示)連接,且因此可旋轉。由於該中心軸構件121之旋轉,該等圓形刀122可旋轉且因此初次地切割該SAP150。
在該等圓形刀122間之距離可依據一初次切割程序之一所欲尺寸變化。例如,在該等圓形刀122間之距離可設定在5mm至100mm之一範圍內,但本發明不限於此。如果在該等圓形刀122間之距離小於5mm,則對該SAP150而言,該等圓形刀122會彼此太靠近而無法在一切割程序中適當地滑過該SAP150。另一方面,如果在該等圓形刀122間之距離大於100mm,則無法獲得一所欲切割效果。
在一示範實施例中,各圓形刀122可形成為具有一邊緣鋸齒。在這示範實施例中,多數鋸齒可形成在與各圓形刀122相同平面上,或與各圓形刀122不同之一平面上。在多數鋸齒形成在與各圓形刀122不同之一平面上的情形中,兩相鄰鋸齒可朝向不同方向。
多數溝槽161可形成為分別對應於該等圓形刀122,且該等圓形刀122可分別部份地插入該等溝槽161中,並且該SAP150中介於其間。因此,可防止與一部份未切割SAP150有關之任何缺陷,且可確保一極佳切割效果。
在另一示範實施例中,多數輔助刀(未圖示)可設置成分別地對應於且接合該等圓形刀122,且該SAP150中介於其間。在這示範實施例中,該等圓形刀122及該等輔助刀可以一似剪刀方式切割該SAP150。
該第二切割器130可沿垂直於該SAP150之進料方向的一方向切割該SAP150。因此,該第二切割器130可包括執行一直線往復運動之一刀。例如,該第二切割器130可執行一垂直往復運動以便二次地切割已被該第一切割器 120初次切割之該SAP150。
一溝槽162可形成為對應於該第二切割器130,且該第二切割器130可部份地插入該溝槽162中,並且該SAP150中介於其間。因此,可防止與一部份未切割SAP150有關之任何缺陷,且可確保一極佳切割效果。
在另一示範實施例中,一輔助刀163可設置成對應於且接合該第二切割器130之刀,且該SAP150中介於其間。在這示範實施例中,該第二切割器130之刀及該輔助刀163可以一似剪刀方式切割該SAP150。
二次地切割該SAP150之一長度可依據一二次切割程序之一所欲尺寸變化。例如,二次地切割該SAP150之該長度可設定在5mm至100mm之一範圍內,但本發明不限於此。如果二次地切割該SAP150之該長度小於5mm,則二次地切割該SAP150SAP150之該長度會太小而無法適當地切割該SAP150。另一方面,如果二次地切割該SAP150之該長度大於100mm,則無法獲得一所欲切割效果。

製備SAP之方法
以下將參照圖1至4說明依據本發明一示範實施例之一製備SAP之方法。
依據該示範實施例,該製備SAP之方法包括:聚合該SAP150,將該SAP150送入該SAP切割裝置100之該進 料單元110中,以該第一切割器120及該第二切割器130切割該SAP150,及釋出該SAP150。
該聚合SAP之步驟可包括,但不限於,將一單體組成物注射至一聚合器中。為製備該SAP150,可將該單體組成物注射在一帶上而聚合,但本發明不限於此。
該單體組成物可包括一水溶性乙烯系不飽和單體,但本發明不限於此。即,可使用一般在製備一SAP時使用之任一單體。該單體組成物可包括選自於由一陰離子單體及其鹽,一非離子親水性單體,及一含胺基不飽和單體及其四級化合物構成之群組中的至少一者。
在一示範實施例中,該單體組成物可包括:選自於由丙烯酸,甲基丙烯酸,無水順丁烯二酸,反丁烯二酸,巴豆酸,伊康酸,2-丙烯醯乙烷磺酸,2-甲基丙烯醯乙烷磺酸,2-(甲基)丙烯醯丙烷磺酸及2-(甲基)丙烯醯胺-2-甲基丙烷磺酸構成之群組中的至少一陰離子單體或其鹽;選自於由(甲基)丙烯醯胺,N-取代(甲基)丙烯酸酯,2-羥乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,2-羥丙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,甲氧基聚乙二醇(甲基)丙烯酸酯及聚乙二醇(甲基)丙烯酸酯構成之群組中的一或多數非離子親水性單體;或選自於由(N,N)-二甲基胺乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯及(N,N)-二甲基胺丙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯構成之群組中的一或多數含胺基不飽和單體或其四級化合物。
在該單體組成物中之該水溶性乙烯系不飽和單體的濃度可考慮聚合時間及反應條件(例如該單體組成物 之進料速度,施加熱及/或光之時間、範圍及強度,該帶之寬度、長度及移動速度)來適當地選擇。在一示範實施例中,在該單體組成物中之該水溶性乙烯系不飽和單體的濃度可為40至60重量%,且就單體之溶解度及經濟可行性來說,這濃度範圍是有效的。
該單體組成物亦可包括選自於由一光聚合起始劑,一熱聚合起始劑,及一交聯劑構成之群組中的一或多數添加劑。更詳而言之,該單體組成物可包括一聚合起始劑,且依據是否實施熱聚合、光聚合或兩者,可適當地選擇該聚合起始劑之種類。
可使用選自以下一者,或二或二以上者之一混合物作為該光聚合起始劑:一苯乙酮衍生物,例如二乙氧基苯乙酮、2-羥基-2-甲基-1-苯基-1-丙酮、4-(2-羥乙氧基)苯基-(2-羥基)-2-丙基酮、或1-羥環己基苯基酮;一安息香烷醚,例如安息香甲醚、安息香乙醚、安息香異丙醚、或安息香異丁醚;一二苯基酮衍生物,例如甲基鄰苯甲醯基苯甲酸酯、4-苯基二苯基酮、4-苯甲醯基-4'-甲基-二苯基硫、或(4-苯甲醯基-苄基)三甲基氯化銨;一塞吨酮系化合物;一醯膦氧化物衍生物,例如雙(2,4,6-三甲基苯甲醯基)-苯膦氧化物或二苯基(2,4,6-三甲基苯甲醯基)-膦氧化物;及一偶氮係化合物,例如2-羥基-甲基-丙腈或2,2'-(偶氮-雙(2-甲基-N-(1,1'-雙(羥甲基)-2-羥乙基)丙醯胺),但本發明不限於此。
可使用選自以下一者,或二或二以上者之一混 合物作為該熱聚合起始劑:一偶氮系起始劑、一過氧化物系起始劑、一氧化還原系起始劑及一有機鹵化物,但本發明不限於此。亦可使用過硫酸鈉(Na2S2O8)或過硫酸鉀(K2S2O8)作為該熱聚合起始劑,但本發明不限於此。
可適當地選擇在該單體組成物中之該光聚合起始劑及該熱聚合起始劑的含量,只要可確保一適當聚合起始效果即可。在一示範實施例中,該光聚合起始劑及該熱聚合起始劑可每100重量份之該單體,分別含有0.005至0.1重量份及0.01至0.5重量份之量,但本發明不限於此。
該交聯劑可包含可與該單體組成物之該單體之取代基反應的至少一官能基及至少一乙烯系不飽和單體,或可包含可與該單體組成物之該單體之取代基及/或藉水解該單體組成物之該單體所形成之一取代基反應的二或二以上官能基。
在一示範實施例中,該交聯劑可為一C8至C12雙丙烯醯胺或雙甲基丙烯醯胺,一C2至C10多元醇之聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯,或一C2至C10多元醇之聚(甲基)烯丙基醚。更詳而言之,該交聯劑可選自以下者:N,N'-伸甲基雙(甲基)丙烯酸酯、乙烯氧(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚乙烯氧(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚丙烯氧(甲基)丙烯酸酯、甘油二丙烯酸酯、甘油三丙烯酸酯、三羥甲基三丙烯酸酯、三烯丙基胺、三聚氰酸三芳酯、三烯丙基異氰酸酯、聚乙二醇、二乙二醇、丙二醇,及其二或二以上者之一混合物,但本發明不限於此。
可適當地選擇在該單體組成物中之該交聯劑的 含量,只要可確保一適當交聯效果即可。在一示範實施例中,該交聯劑可每100重量份之該單體組成物之該單體,含有0.01至0.5重量份之量,但本發明不限於此。
已被聚合之該SAP150可被送入該SAP切割裝置100之該進料單元110中,且因此可使用該第一切割器120及該第二切割器130進行切割程序。
該第一切割器120可沿平行於該SAP150之該進料方向之一方向,例如一縱長方向,初次地切割該SAP150,且該第二切割器130可沿垂直於該SAP150之該進料方向之一方向,例如一寬度方向,二次地切割該SAP150。或者,該第一切割器120可沿該寬度方向初次地切割該SAP150,且該第二切割器130可沿該縱長方向二次地切割該SAP150。
該已被切割之SAP150可釋出至該釋出單元140中,且依據該示範實施例,製備SAP之方法亦可包括進行粉碎、乾燥及另一粉碎程序。依據該示範實施例,製備SAP之方法亦可包括在該第一粉碎程序前進行一初次乾燥程序以防止在該第一粉碎程序中形成任何團塊。
可在沒有限制之情形下使用任何粉碎方法或裝置。例如,可使用用以切割及擠出一橡膠類彈性材料之一裝置來粉碎該SAP150。在一示範實施例中,可使用一切割式切割器、一切碎式切割器、一揉捏式切割器、一振動粉碎器、一衝擊粉碎器、或一摩擦粉碎器來切割該SAP150,但本發明不限於此。
該SAP150可使用一典型乾燥器及一典型加熱器來乾燥。在一示範實施例中,可使用一熱風乾燥器、一流體床乾燥器、一急速乾燥器、一紅外線乾燥器、或一介電加熱乾燥器來乾燥該SAP150,但本發明不限於此。用以乾燥該SAP150之一溫度可設定在,但不限於,100至200℃以有效地乾燥該SAP150同時防止該SAP150之熱降解。
雖然已參照本發明之示範實施例特別顯示及說明了本發明,但是所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者可了解的是在不偏離由以下申請專利範圍所界定之本發明精神及範疇的情形下可在其中進行各種變化。該等示範實施例應被視為只是說明而不是用以限制。

Claims (11)

  1. 一種超吸收聚合物(SAP)切割裝置,包含:一進料單元,一SAP被送入該進料單元中;一第一切割器,其初次地切割該SAP;一第二切割器,其二次地切割該SAP;及一釋出單元,其釋出已該被切割之SAP。
  2. 如請求項1之SAP切割裝置,其中該SAP呈一片狀。
  3. 如請求項1之SAP切割裝置,其中該第一切割器沿平行於該SAP之一進料方向的一方向切割該SAP。
  4. 如請求項3之SAP切割裝置,其中該第一切割器可為一輥式切割器。
  5. 如請求項4之SAP切割裝置,其中該輥式切割器包括多數刀且與該SAP之該進料方向一致地旋轉。
  6. 如請求項5之SAP切割裝置,更包含:多數輔助刀或溝槽,其形成為分別對應於該等多數刀,且該SAP中介於其間。
  7. 如請求項1之SAP切割裝置,其中該第二切割器沿垂直於該SAP之一進料方向之一方向切割該SAP。
  8. 如請求項1之SAP切割裝置,其中該第二切割器包括執行一直線往復運動之一刀。
  9. 如請求項8之SAP切割裝置,更包含:一輔助刀或溝槽,其形成為對應於該第二切割器之該刀,且該SAP中介於其間。
  10. 一種製備SAP之方法,包含:聚合一SAP;將該SAP送入如請求項1至9中任一項之SAP切割裝置之該進料單元中;以一第一切割器及一第二切割器切割該SAP;及釋出該已被切割之SAP。
  11. 如請求項10之方法,更包含:乾燥該已被釋出之SAP;及粉碎該乾燥之SAP。
