Abstract
本發明提供一種能提升聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑、含有其之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物及其成形體。
一種聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑,其係含有下述一般式(1)所示之化合物。
一般式(1)中,R表示可具有取代基之碳原子數1~20之烷基,m表示2~100之數。前述一般式(1)中之R係以碳原子數3~20之第2級烷基為佳。

Description
本發明係關於聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑、含有其之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物及其成形體,詳細而言,關於一種能提供聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑、含有其之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物及其成形體。
聚碳酸酯樹脂由於具有優異耐衝擊性、電氣特性、光學特性等,故在OA(辦公自動化)機器、電氣・電子機器、光學機器、自動車零件、建築材料等上係受到廣泛利用之成形材料。然而,聚碳酸酯樹脂在與其他泛用樹脂相比由於樹脂之流動性較差,將必須要高成形加工溫度,且在成形加工性上為較差者,也具有著色等之耐熱性之問題。
又,聚碳酸酯樹脂係藉由射出成形而成形為各種成形品,但在影印機、傳真機等之OA機器、電氣・電子機器等之零件或外殼等之情況,形狀變得複雜時,則凸紋(rib)或轂(boss)等之凹凸會形成在成形品上。因此,有變得難以使成形品從模具進行拆模之情況,且有無法拆模而在成形品上開穴,即使能拆模但會產生變形,白化或歪曲殘留,而導致成形品之尺寸精度、強度、外觀降低等之問題點,故有提高聚碳酸酯樹脂之脫模性之必要。
一般而言,氯乙烯樹脂等所使用之作為塑化劑之鄰苯二甲酸二辛酯或三甲苯酚基磷酸酯等雖能提升聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性,但該等係與聚碳酸酯樹脂之相溶性差,而具有使樹脂之物性或耐熱性顯著降低之問題。有鑑於該種狀況,專利文獻1提出對聚碳酸酯樹脂配合特定之二醇之芳香族脂肪酸酯。又,專利文獻2及3提出對聚碳酸酯樹脂配合季戊四醇之軟脂酸酯滑劑。

[發明所欲解決之課題]
然而,如專利文獻1般即使對聚碳酸酯樹脂配合特定之二醇之芳香族脂肪酸酯,聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性之改善仍不充足,又,並未著眼於脫模性之改善,且並未進行任何之檢討。又,如專利文獻2及3般即使對聚碳酸酯樹脂添加季戊四醇之軟脂酸酯滑劑,流動性與脫模性並不充足。因此,過往之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑在改善聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物加工時之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性上難謂充足,故現狀希望更加之改良。
故,本發明之目的在於提供一種能提升聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑、含有其之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物及其成形體。

本發明者等為了解決上述課題經過精心研討之結果,發現具有特定構造之化合物可聚碳酸酯樹脂賦予優異之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性,進而成功完成本發明。
即,本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑,其特徵為含有下述一般式(1)所示之化合物;
一般式(1)中,R表示可具有取代基之碳原子數1~20之烷基,m表示2~100之數。

本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物中,相對於(a)聚碳酸酯樹脂100質量份,(b)聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑之含量係以0.1~10質量份為佳。
本發明之成形體,其特徵為由本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物所得者。

以下,詳細說明關於本發明之實施形態。
首先,說明關於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑。本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑含有下述一般式(1)所示之化合物。在此,一般式(1)中,R表示碳原子數1~20之烷基,m表示2~100之數。

一般式(1)中,m表示2~100之數,從聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之觀點,m係以4~45為佳,以8~35為較佳,以10~20為更佳,以10~15為特佳。
一般式(1)所示之化合物係可使下述一般式(2)所示之碳原子數2~21之脂肪族羧酸、其之烷基酯、其之酸酐、其之鹼金屬鹽、或其之羧酸鹵化物(亦稱為酸鹵化物),與下述一般式(3)所示之聚乙二醇進行酯化反應而得。反應中亦可使用促進酯化反應之觸媒,作為觸媒,可使用如氧化二丁基錫、四烷基鈦酸酯、乙酸鋯、乙酸鋅等過往公知者。
一般式(2)中,R1 表示碳原子數1~20之烷基。

係對應於一般式(1)之烷基之R。作為一般式(2)所示之碳原子數2~21之脂肪族羧酸,可舉出例如,乙酸、丙酸、丁酸、異丁酸、戊酸、2-甲基丁酸(hydroangelic acid)、己酸、2-甲基戊酸、庚酸、2-甲基庚酸、n-辛酸、異辛酸、2-乙基己酸、壬酸、癸酸、月桂酸、肉豆蔻酸、十五烷酸、軟脂酸、十七烷酸、硬脂酸等。從聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之觀點,一般式(2)所示之碳原子數2~21之脂肪族羧酸係以R1
為碳原子數3~20之第2級烷基之羧酸為佳,以R1
係碳原子數5~9之第2級烷基之羧酸為較佳,以2-乙基己酸為最佳。尚且,一般式(3)之n係對應於一般式(1)之m。
從聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之觀點,一般式(3)之聚乙二醇係以數平均分子量200~2000之聚乙二醇為佳,以數平均分子量350~1500之聚乙二醇為較佳,以數平均分子量500~900之聚乙二醇為更佳,以數平均分子量500~700之聚乙二醇為特佳。尚且,一般式(3)之聚乙二醇之數平均分子量係以下述之數平均分子量測量方法而得之值。

作為本發明之一般式(1)所示之化合物,可舉出例如,下述之No.1~No.7之化學式所示之化合物。
化合物No.1
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑可為一般式(1)所示之化合物之單獨1種類,亦可為2種類以上之混合物。尚且,本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑中,除了包含一般式(1)所示之化合物以外,亦可包含製造該化合物之未反應原料、副生成物等之成分。從聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性之觀點,本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑係以含有一般式(1)所示之化合物90質量%以上為佳,較佳含有95質量%以上。
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑係能配合於聚碳酸酯樹脂且作成聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物來使用。
其次,說明關於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物。本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物,其為含有(a)聚碳酸酯樹脂(以下,單亦稱為「(a)成分)」),及(b)聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑(以下,單稱為「(b)成分)」)之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物,並且(b)聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑為本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑。
作為聚碳酸酯樹脂,可使用過往公知者或市售者,但以藉由2價酚與碳酸酯前驅物之反應所製造之芳香族聚碳酸酯為佳。2價酚與碳酸酯前驅物之反應係如有溶液法或溶融法等,具體地可舉出如2價酚與光氣之反應、2價酚與二苯基碳酸酯等之酯交換反應等。
作為2價酚,可舉出如2,2-雙(4-羥基苯基)丙烷[雙酚A]、雙(4-羥基苯基)甲烷、1,1-雙(4-羥基苯基)乙烷、2,2-雙(4-羥基-3,5-二甲基苯基)丙烷、4,4’-二羥基二苯基、雙(4-羥基苯基)環烷、氧化雙(4-羥基苯基)、雙(4-羥基苯基)硫醚、雙(4-羥基苯基)碸、雙(4-羥基苯基)亞碸、雙(4-羥基苯基)醚、雙(4-羥基苯基)酮等。除此之外,作為2價酚,可舉出如氫醌、間苯二酚、兒茶酚等。該等2價酚係各自可單獨使用,亦可混合2種以上使用。特佳之2價酚如雙(羥基苯基)烷系,尤其係將雙酚A作為主原料者。
又,作為碳酸酯前驅物,可舉出如羰基鹵化物、羰基酯、鹵甲酸酯等,具體地可舉出如光氣、2價酚之二鹵甲酸酯、二苯基碳酸酯、二甲基碳酸酯、二乙基碳酸酯等。
尚且,聚碳酸酯樹脂亦可具有分枝構造,作為分枝劑,可舉出如1,1,1-參(4-羥基苯基)乙烷、α,α’,α”-參(4-羥基苯基)-1,3,5-三異丙基苯、氟甘胺酸、偏苯三甲酸、吲哚醌雙(o-甲酚)(isatinbis(o-cresol))等。又,為了調節分子量,亦可使用酚、p-t-丁基酚、p-t-辛基酚、p-異丙苯基酚等。
又,作為聚碳酸酯樹脂,也可使用具有聚碳酸酯部與聚有機矽氧烷部之共聚物,或含有該共聚物之聚碳酸酯樹脂。又,作為共聚物,也可為藉由在對酞酸等之2官能性羧酸或其之酯形成衍生物等之酯前驅物之存在下進行聚碳酸酯之聚合反應而得之聚酯-聚碳酸酯樹脂。並且,也可適宜混合使用各種聚碳酸酯樹脂。
並且,聚碳酸酯樹脂不僅可為聚碳酸酯為100%之樹脂,亦可為聚碳酸酯與其他樹脂混合而成之所謂之聚合物合金(polymer alloy)。作為此種聚合物合金,可舉出例如,聚碳酸酯/ABS樹脂、聚碳酸酯/AS樹脂、聚碳酸酯/橡膠系高分子化合物、聚碳酸酯/ABS樹脂/橡膠系高分子化合物、聚碳酸酯/聚對酞酸乙二酯、聚碳酸酯/聚對酞酸丁二酯、聚碳酸酯/ASA樹脂、聚碳酸酯/AES樹脂等。
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物中,從加工時之流動性、脫模性及耐熱性等之觀點,相對於(a)成分100質量份之(b)成分之含有比例係以0.1質量份~10質量份為佳,以0.3質量份~8.0質量份為較佳,以0.5質量份~5.0質量份為更佳,以1.0~5.0為特佳。
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物中,因應必要可更添加如酚系防氧化劑、磷系防氧化劑、硫醚系防氧化劑、紫外線吸收劑、受阻胺系光安定劑等之各種添加劑,藉此而能使本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物安定化。該等防氧化劑等之各種添加劑在配合至聚碳酸酯樹脂之前,亦可預先配合於本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑中。

作為硫醚系防氧化劑,可舉出例如,硫二丙酸二月桂酯、硫二丙酸二肉豆蔻基酯、硫二丙酸二硬脂醯基酯等之二烷基硫二丙酸酯類、及、季戊四醇四(β-烷基硫丙酸)酯類。相對於聚碳酸酯樹脂100質量份,該等硫醚系防氧化劑之添加量係以0.001~10質量份為佳,以0.05~5質量份為較佳。

本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物中,因應必要在不損及本發明之效果範圍內,亦可添加芳香族羧酸金屬鹽、脂環式烷基羧酸金屬鹽、p-第三丁基安息香酸鋁、芳香族磷酸酯金屬鹽、二亞苄基山梨醇類等之造核劑、金屬皂、水滑石、含三嗪環化合物、金屬氫氧化物、磷酸酯系難燃劑、縮合磷酸酯系難燃劑、磷酸酯系難燃劑、無機磷系難燃劑、(聚)磷酸鹽系難燃劑、鹵系難燃劑、矽系難燃劑、三氧化銻等之氧化銻、其他之無機系難燃助劑、其他之有機系難燃助劑、填充劑、防帶電劑、顏料、滑劑、發泡劑等作為其他添加劑。
作為含三嗪環化合物,可舉出例如,三聚氰胺、2,4-二胺基-6-羥基-1,3,5-三嗪(ammeline)、苯並胍胺、乙醯胍胺、酞菁二胍胺(phthalodiguanamine)、三聚氰胺三聚氰酸酯、吡咯啉酸三聚氰胺、伸丁基二胍胺、降莰烯二胍胺、亞甲基二胍胺、伸乙基雙三聚氰胺、三亞甲基雙三聚氰胺、四亞甲基雙三聚氰胺、六亞甲基雙三聚氰胺、1,3-伸己基雙三聚氰胺等。

其他,本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物中,在不損及本發明之效果範圍內,因應必要可在本發明之效果範圍內配合通常合成樹脂所使用之添加劑,例如,交聯劑、防霧劑、防霉劑(plate-out preventing agent)、表面處理劑、塑化劑、滑劑、難燃劑、螢光劑、防黴劑、殺菌劑、抗菌劑、發泡劑、金屬惰性劑、脫模劑、顏料、加工助劑、防氧化劑、光安定劑、合成樹脂之聚合時觸媒失活劑等。
又,本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物中,在不損及本發明之效果範圍內,因應必要亦可配合上述聚碳酸酯樹脂以外之熱可塑性樹脂。

該等熱可塑性樹脂係不論分子量、聚合度、密度、軟化點、對溶劑之不溶分之比例、立體規則性之程度、有無觸媒殘渣、當作原料之單體之種類或配合比率、聚合觸媒之種類(例如,齊格勒觸媒、茂金屬觸媒等)等皆可使用。
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物係藉由以適當比例配合(a)成分及(b)成分,以及因應必要之其他添加劑並進行混練而得。此時之配合及混練係能運用通常所使用之機器,例如帶式摻合機(ribbon blender)、油桶滾動機(drum tumblers)等進行預備混合,再使用亨些爾混合機、密閉式混煉機、單軸螺桿擠壓機、雙軸螺桿擠壓機、多軸螺桿擠壓機、共捏合機等之方法來進行。混練時之加熱溫度通常係在240~300℃之範圍內適宜選擇。尚且,(a)成分以外之含有成分係也可添加作為預先與(a)成分進行溶融混練而成之母料。
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物係製作作為藉由上述之溶融混練成形法而得之丸粒(pellet),或將該丸粒作為原料藉由射出成形法、射出壓縮成形法、擠壓成形法、吹出成形法、加壓成形法、真空成形法、發泡成形法等而製造作為各種成形品。其中,以在藉由溶融混練成形法,製造出丸粒狀之成形原料,其次使用該丸粒,脫模性最會成為問題之射出成形、射出壓縮成形所得之射出成形品之製造上特別適宜使用。尚且,作為射出成形法,為了防止外觀之收縮痕或為了輕量化,也可採用氣體注入成形法。
其次說明關於本發明之成形體。本發明之成形體係由本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物所得者。本發明之成形品係以上述之方法將聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物予以成形加工而得者。
本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物及其成形體(包括射出成形品及射出壓縮成形品)係能使用在印表機、個人電腦、文字處理機、鍵盤、PDA(小型資訊端末機)、電話機、影印機、傳真機、ECR(電子式金錢註冊機)、電子計算器、電子筆記、卡、夾具、文具等之事務、OA機器、洗衣機、冷藏庫、掃除機、微波爐、照明器具、遊戲機、熨斗、被爐等之家電機器、電視、收音機、錄放影機(video deck)、攝影機、錄放影音帶(radio cassette)、錄音影機(tape recoder)、迷你磁碟、CD播放器、擴音機、液晶顯示器等之AV機器、電氣・電子機器之外殼、電氣・電子零件、汽車內外裝材、汽車零件、車輛・船舶・航空機零件、住宅及建築材料、眼鏡、鏡片、光學機器、光學零件、鞄、盒、眼罩、滑雪板、球拍、樂器、各種容器等之生活用品、運動用品等之各種用途。

以下,使用實施例更加詳細說明本發明,但本發明並非係受該等所限定者。
<實施例1~3>
使數平均分子量600之聚乙二醇與2-乙基己酸進行酯化反應,而取得化學式No.1所示之本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑-1(以下稱為添加劑-1)。
使數平均分子量600之聚乙二醇與2-乙基己酸進行酯化反應,而取得化學式No.1所示之本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑-1(以下稱為添加劑-1)。
使用取得之添加劑-1,以下述表1記載之配合(質量份)而取得本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物。聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物係相對於聚碳酸酯樹脂100質量份更配合有酚系防氧化劑(Adekastab AO-50、(股)ADEKA製)0.2質量份與磷系防氧化劑(Adekastab C、(股)ADEKA製)0.1質量份。將取得之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物供給至擠壓機(Labo Plastomill 2軸擠壓機、東洋精機(股)製),以260℃進行溶融混練而丸粒化。使取得之丸粒在80℃下乾燥12小時,並以下述試驗方法評價螺旋流動長度。將結果展示於表1。
又,另外,取代上述試驗片而改用80mm× 100mm×40mm(深度),壁厚:3mm,拔模斜率:0之脫模性評價試驗模具作為成形品模具,在同樣成形條件下進行成形,並評價脫模性及耐熱性。將結果展示於表1。
<實施例4>
使數平均分子量600之聚乙二醇與n-辛酸進行酯化反應而取得化學式No.2所示之本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑-2(以下稱為添加劑-2)。使用取得之添加劑-2,以下述表1記載之配合(質量份)調製出本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物。與實施例1同樣地配合防氧化劑後,與實施例1同樣地操作,並評價螺旋流動長度、脫模性、耐熱性。將結果展示於表1。

使數平均分子量600之聚乙二醇與異辛酸進行酯化反應而取得化學式No.3所示之本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑-3(以下稱為添加劑-3)。使用取得之添加劑-3,以下述表1記載之配合(質量份)調製出本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物。與實施例1同樣地配合防氧化劑後,使用實施例1同樣地操作,並評價螺旋流動長度、脫模性、耐熱性。將結果展示於表1。

<螺旋流動長度(SFL)試驗方法>
在成形溫度280℃、模具溫度80℃、壁厚2mm、寬10mm、射出壓力110MPa之條件下測量。單位為cm。此值越長則加工時之流動性越優異。

<脫模性試驗方法>
測量擠出銷之壓力。最大壓力2.9MPa,此值越小則脫模性越優。

<耐熱性試驗方法>
將由脫模性試驗所得之成形品使用作為試驗片並測量黃色度(Y.I.值)。黃色度之數值越小則著色越少,即可謂係耐熱性優異。

從表1中所示之結果,可明白得知本發明之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑係能改善聚碳酸酯樹脂之流動性、脫模性、耐熱性。
Claims (5)
- 一種聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑,其特徵為含有下述一般式(1)所示之化合物; 一般式(1)中,R表示可具有取代基之碳原子數1~20之烷基,m為2~100之數。
- 如請求項1之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑,其中前述一般式(1)中之R為碳原子數3~20之第2級烷基。
- 一種聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物,其特徵為含有(a)聚碳酸酯樹脂及(b)聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑,且(b)聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑為如請求項1或2之聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑。
- 如請求項3之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物,其中相對於(a)聚碳酸酯樹脂100質量份,(b)聚碳酸酯樹脂用添加劑之含量為0.1~10質量份。
- 一種成形體,其特徵為由如請求項3或4之聚碳酸酯樹脂組成物所得者。
