Abstract

A device for closing metallic covers on glass jars contains a closing holder, two closing rollers with axes being parallel to the axis of holder mounted with possibility of rotation around the latter, and a mechanism of radial displacement of rollers. The closing rollers are located in such a way that their axes lie respectively in the planes, which are the faces of the right dihedral angle, which edge coincides with the axis of closing holder. The rollers are fastened to the roll holders installed with possibility of turning around the vertical axis and having pressure control levers, which contact with a slant of skirt of driving container.
