Композитный материал на основе углерод-углерод для фрикционных элементов содержит основу из волокон углерода, уложенных в несколько слоев, и матрицу, которая содержит фазу на основе пироуглерода, полученную уплотнением углеродных волокон пироуглеродом, фазу, полученную введением между слоями углеродных волокон порошка аморфного бора с субмикронным размером частиц до процесса уплотнения пироуглеродом, и фазу карбида кремния. Композитный материал содержит по объему 10-40 % волокон углерода, 10-50 % фазы на основе пироуглерода, 10-50 % фазы, полученной введением между слоями углеродных волокон порошка аморфного бора с субмикронным размером частиц до процесса уплотнения пироуглеродом, 10-35 % фазы карбида кремния.
