産業上の利用分野
本発明は部材の板状部を表面処理から一時的に保護す るマスキング材に関するものである。
例えば自動車の床を構成する鋼鉄材には防錡処理が施 されているが、 自動車走行中に小石、 砂等がはね飛び、 該鋼鉄材に衝突して、 該鋼鉄材に施されている防錡膜を 傷つけることがある。 これをチッ ビング現象と言うカ^ この現象を防ぐために該鋼鉄材にはポリ塩化ビニルゾル、 タールウレタン等の粘弾性塗料がスプレー塗装されてい 0
しかしながら該自動車の床を構成する鋼鉄材には部品 を取付けるためのブラケッ ト等の板状部が設けられてお り、 その板状部に粘弾性塗料が付着することを防ぐこと が必要である。
• 従来の技術
従来、 上記板状部に粘弾性塗料が付着することを防ぐ ためには該板状部にク リ ップ状のマスキング材を嵌着す る方法が提供されている （特開昭 6 2 — 2 8 9 2 7 6号） 。
自動車製造工程のような連続大量生産工程にあっては、 上記マスキング材を板状部に嵌着する際にロボッ ト等を 用いることが望ましい。 最近では該マスキング材を πボ
ッ トの吸盤に吸着し、 板状部に自動的に嵌着する方法も 提供されている （特願平 1 一 1 7 0 8 8 0号） 。
しかしながらクリ ップ状のマスキング材をロボッ トに よって自動的に板状部に嵌着するに際しては、 マスキン グ材の揷入溝の開口部を板状部の正面に相対する位置に 正しく位置させねばならず、 そのためには非常に精密な πボッ ト操作が要求される。 また該マスキング材を作業 者の手で板状部に嵌着する場合でも、 位置合わせに手間 がかかり作業効率が低下する。
発明の開示
本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するための手段として、 本体（2)に挿入溝（3)を設けたクリ ップ状のマスキング材 (1 )であって、 該揷入溝（3 )の開口部（4 )から外側に向か つて開くテーパー状ガイ ド部 5 )を延設したマスキング 材（1 )を提供するものである。
本発明のマスキング材（1 )を例えばロボッ ト等により 板状部（7)に嵌着する際、 マスキング材 )の本体（2 )の 挿入溝（3)の開口部（4)が該板状部（7)の正面に相対する 位置より ·多少ずれた位置に来ても、 該板状部 σ)に嵌着 する際にまずマスキング材（ 1 )の本体（2 )の挿入溝（3)の 開口部（4.)から延設されているテーパー状ガイ ド部（5)が 該板状部（7)の上縁または下縁に当接してマスキング材 (1 )の位置を正しい位置に修正し、 それから該マスキン
グ材（1 )の本体（2)の揷入溝（3)が板状部ぐ 7)に嵌入する。 したがって本発明ではマスキング材の嵌着前の位置が 多少板状部正面からずれていても、 該マスキング材を確 実に該板状部に嵌着することが出来、 精密なロボッ ト操 作は必要なくなり-、 ロボッ ト構造が簡単になる。 また作 業者が手でマスキング材を板状部に嵌着する場合でも、 位置合わせが簡単になって作業効率が向上する。

発明の詳細な説明
本発明を第 1図〜第 4図に示す一実施例によって説明 すれば、 マスキング材（ 1 )の本体（2)には挿入溝（3)が設 けられ、 該揷入溝（3)の開口部（4)から更に外側に向かつ て開くテーパー状ガイ ド部（5)が設けられている。 該ガ ィ ド部（5)のテーパー形状は凸曲線状になっている。
上記マスキング材（1 )は第 2図に示すように真空送風
経路（8)が連絡している口ボッ トの吸盤（9)に吸着され、 部材（6)の板状部（7)の正面に相対する位置に該マスキン グ材（1)の本体（2)の揷入溝（3)の開口部（4)が位置される 力^ その位置が若干ずれていても、 第 3図矢印ィに示す ように該マスキング材（1)を挿入溝（3)を介してロボッ ト により該板状部（7)に嵌着する際に、 該マスキング材（1 ) のガイ ド部（5)が該板状部（7)の上縁に当接して該マスキ ング材（1 )を矢印口方向に修正する。 該マスキング材（ 1 ) の嵌着工程の終わりにあたっては該真空送風経路〔8 )力、 ら吸盤（9)を介して空気を送通して該マスキング材 α )力、 ら吸盤（9)を切り離す。 このようにして第 4図に示すよ うに該マスキング材（1 )は該板状部（7)に嵌着される。
第 5図には本発明の他の実施例のマスキング材（1)Αが 示される。 該マスキング材 Π )Αの本体（2)Αの挿入溝（3)Α の開口部（4)Αから延設されているテーパー状ガイ ド部 (5)Αのテーパー形状は直線状にされている。
本発明のマスキング材はポリスチレン、 ポリエチレン、 ポリプロピレン、 ポリ塩化ビニル、 ポリウレタン、 メラ ミ ン樹脂、 尿素樹脂、 フ ノール樹脂等のプラスチッ ク、 あるいは上記プラスチックに炭酸カルシウム、 タルク、 ベントナイ ト等の無機充塡剤を混合した強化プラスチッ ク、 あるいは上記プラスチッ クの発泡体、 スチレンーブ 夕ジェンゴム、 ァク リロ二トリル一ブ夕ジェンゴム等の
合成ゴム、 天然ゴム等のゴム類、 あるいは木質繊維、 合 成繊維、 天然繊維、 無機繊維等をバインダーで結着成形 した繊維成形物、 木、 紙、 古紙、 ダンボール、 金属ある いは上記材料から選ばれた二種以上の材料の複合物また は積層物等を材料とする。
なお、 本発明のマスキング材（1 )の取付けには吸盤（8) 以外、 鋏式の保持具や刺針式の保持具等が用いられても よい。
