Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stockgriff mit einem auf ein Stockende aufbringbaren Formkörper (20) aus formsteifem Werkstoff und mit einem den Formkörper (20) umschließenden Griffmantel (22) aus einem grifffreundlichen Material. Um einen für die Massenfertigung geeigneten, leichten Stockgriff mit einer angenehm anzufassenden Oberfläche zu erhalten, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß das grifffreundliche Material eine Mischung aus einem Elastomer und einem Korkmaterial ist, die zur Bildung des Griffmantels (22), insbesondere in Spritzgußtechnik, auf den inneren Formkörper (20) aufgebracht ist.

Description

Stockgriff
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stockgriff nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.
Ein derartiger Stockgriff ist aus der DE 40 38 598 Cl bekannt und weist einen inneren Formkörper aus Hartplastik, vorzugsweise Polyamid, und eine aus grifffreundlichem Elastomer bestehende Um antelung auf. Das grifffreundliche Elastomer besteht vorzugsweise aus Naturkautschuk oder Polyurethan. Dieser Stockgriff wird unter anderem für Wander- und jede Form von Skistöcken verwendet.
Aus der US-A-46 98 893 ist ein Griff bekannt, der insbeson¬ dere für Angelruten vorgesehen ist und der aus einer knet- und formbaren Masse aus einem Bindemittel auf Vinylbasis und aus feingestoßenem Kork im Do-it-yourself-Verfahren herge¬ stellt wird. Aus dieser Masse wird eine Schicht gebildet, die im Griffbereich auf die Angelrute oder den Stock aufge¬ klebt, durch Eindrücken eines Handabdrucks geformt und dann nach vorsichtigem Ablösen der Hand getrocknet wird.
Der auf diese Weise anatomisch ausgeformte Griff ist jedoch hart, so daß er sich trotz seiner anatomischen Form nicht besonders angenehm anfassen läßt.
Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, einen weite¬ ren, industriell herstellbaren Stockgriff der eingangs genannten Art bereitzustellen, der insbesondere eine verbes¬ serte Griffigkeit bei geringerem Eigengewicht aufweist. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch den Stockgriff nach Anspruch 1 gelöst.
Erfindungsgemäß wird also eine Mischung aus einem Elastomer und Korkmaterial für den Griffmantel eingesetzt, die auf den formsteifen inneren Formkörper aufgebracht wird. Hierdurch ergibt sich ein formstabiler Griff, der sich in einfacher Weise in industrieller Serienfertigung herstellen, weiter¬ verarbeiten, lagern und montieren läßt. Dabei besitzt dieser Stockgriff eine weiche, elastische und grifffreundliche Oberfläche, die nicht nur ein angenehmes Gefühl beim Anfas¬ sen vermittelt, sondern auch eine verbesserte Griffigkeit aufweist.
Der Griffmantel des erfindungsgemäßen Stockgriffes ist vor allem auch bei tiefen Temperaturen noch weich und elastisch. Wird der erfindungsgemäße Stockgriff in die Hand genommen, so erwärmt er sich schneller als die bekannten Ausführungen und wirkt auch wärmeisolierend. Das Eigengewicht des Stock¬ griffes ist durch die Beimengung des Korks geringer. Beson¬ ders angenehm wird die größere Griff- und Hautfreundlichkeit des Stockgriffes empfunden, die sich durch die Verbindung von Weichheit und Elastizität mit den natürlichen Eigen¬ schaften des Korkmaterials ergibt. Vorteilhafterweise ist der Stockgriff nach der Fertigung bearbeitbar, so daß die Form des Stockgriffes beispielsweise durch Schleifen indivi¬ duell gestaltet werden kann.
Eine vorteilhafte Weiterbildung der Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Korkanteil im grifffreundlichen Mate¬ rial zwischen 30 % und 98 %, vorzugsweise zwischen 65 % und 90 %, insbesondere 80 % beträgt.
Durch die Variation des Korkanteils im grifffreundlichen Material läßt sich sowohl das Gewicht als auch die Wider¬ standsfähigkeit der Ummantelung des Stockgriffes beeinflussen. Einen besonders leichten und dabei doch gegen Abnutzung widerstandsfähigen Stockgriff erhält man, wenn der Korkanteil etwa 80 % beträgt.
Dabei wird als Korkmaterial entsprechend Anspruch 3 Korkgra¬ nulat oder Korkmehl bevorzugt.
Bevorzugte Elastomere für das grifffreundliche Material sind in Anspruch 4 angegeben.
Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß dem grifffreundlichen Mate¬ rial Farbpigmente und/oder Lichtschutzwachse beigemischt sind. Die Farbpigmente, die der ästhetischen Gestaltung des Stockgriffes dienen, schützen dabei ebenso wie die vorzugs¬ weise zusätzlich beigemischten Lichtschutzwachse insbeson¬ dere das natürliche Korkmaterial vor Alterungsprozessen, die durch Licht und insbesondere durch die erhöhte UV-Strahlung, die im Hochgebirge auftritt, hervorgerufen werden können.
Eine besonders sichere und feste Anordnung des Griffmantels auf dem Formkörper ergibt sich bei der Ausgestaltung der Erfindung nach Anspruch 6.
Die Erfindung wird anhand des in der Figur dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels näher beschrieben.
Die einzige Figur der Zeichnung zeigt das obere Ende eines Stockes, auf den ein Stockgriff 12 aufgebracht ist. Der Stock 10, beispielsweise ein Aluminiumrohr, ist in eine Ausnehmung 16 des Stockgriffes 12 eingebracht. Die Form des Stockgriffes 12 kann je nach Verwendung unterschiedlich gestaltet sein. Hier ist der Stockgriff eines typischen Langlaufskistockes als Beispiel dargestellt. Der Stockgriff 12 weist am oberen Ende Bänder 14 auf, die eine Handschlaufe bilden. Der Stockgriff 12 besteht aus einem inneren Formkörper 20 und einem den Formkörper umgebenden Griffmantel 22. Der innere Formkörper, der die Ausnehmung 16 aufweist, besteht aus einem formsteifen Material, z. B. Hartplastik, vorzugs¬ weise Polyamid. Er ist als Spritzgußteil ausgebildet und vorzugsweise mit einer profilierten Oberfläche versehen, die beispielsweise ein wellenartiges Profil besitzt. Der innere Formkörper 20 und der darauf aufgebrachte Griffmantel 22 sind auf diese Weise formschlüssig aneinander gehalten, so daß sie beim Benutzen des Stockes nicht gegeneinander verrutschen können.
Der Griffmantel 22 besteht aus einer Mischung aus Korkmate¬ rial, vorzugsweise Korkgranulat oder -mehl mit einer Korn¬ größe im Bereich von 0,3 bis 3 mm, insbesondere von 0,5 bis 2 mm und vorzugsweise etwa 1 mm, und einem als Bindemittel dienenden Elastomer. Als Elastomer wird dabei ein griff- freundliches, thermoplastisches Elastomer, insbesondere Äthylpolypropylen-Mischpolymerisate (EPM) oder Äthylvinyl- acetat-(EVA)-Co-polymere oder Mischungen von EPM/EVA-Co- polymeren eingesetzt. Auch Naturkautschuk, z. B. Latex, kann hier verwendet werden. Der Korkanteil im grifffreundlichen Material kann zwischen 30 % und 98 % variiert werden. Besonders vorteilhaft ist es, wenn der Korkanteil zwischen 65 und 90 %, vorzugsweise etwa 80 %, also etwa 78 % bis 82 % beträgt. Der Korkanteil kann dabei entsprechend den Anforderungen an Gewicht, Weichheit und innere Bindung des Griffmantelmaterials gewählt werden. Je höher der Korkan¬ teil, umso leichter ist der Griff. Die innere Bindung des Griffmantelmaterials nimmt mit wachsendem Elastomeranteil zu. Bei dem bevorzugten Korkanteil von etwa 80 % erhält man einen Griffmantel 22, bei dem Gewicht und Widerstandsfähig¬ keit gegen Abnutzung optimal aufeinander abgestimmt sind.
Der Griffmantel 22 ist wie der innere Formkörper 20 als ein Spritzgußteil ausgebildet und auf den inneren Formkörper aufgespritzt. Da das grifffreundliche Material spritzgu߬ fähig ist, eignet sich der erfindungsgemäße Stockgriff besonders gut für die Massenproduktion.
Um Alterungserscheinungen, insbesondere des Korkmaterials vorzubeugen, der der Stockgriff im Licht und insbesondere bei erhöhter UV-Bestrahlung im Gebirge unterworfen sein kann, werden dem grifffreundliehen Material Lichtschutzwach¬ se und vorteilhafterweise zusätzliche Farbpigmente beige¬ mischt. Die Farbpigmente dienen dabei auch der ästhetischen Gestaltung des Griffes.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Stockgriff mit einem auf ein Stockende aufbringbaren inneren Formkörper (20) aus formsteifem Werkstoff und mit einem den Formkörper (20) umschließenden Griffman¬ tel (22) aus einem grifffreundlichen Material, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das grifffreundliche Material eine Mischung aus einem Elastomer und einem Korkmaterial ist, die zur Bildung des Griffmantels (22) , insbesondere in Spritzgußtechnik, auf den inneren Formkörper (20) aufgebracht ist.
2. Stockgriff nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Korkanteil im grifffreundlichen Material zwischen 30 % und 98 %, vorzugsweise zwischen 65 % und 90 %, insbesondere 80 % beträgt.
3. Stockgriff nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekenn¬ zeichnet, daß das Korkmaterial Korkgranulat oder Korkmehl ist, wobei die Korngröße des Granulats oder Mehls zwischen 0,3 und 3 mm, vorzugsweise zwischen 0,5 und 2 mm und insbesondere etwa 1 mm beträgt.
4. Stockgriff nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, dadurch gekenn¬ zeichnet, daß das grifffreundliche Material ther¬ moplastische Elastomere, insbesondere Äthylpropylen- Mischpolymerisate (EPM) oder Äthylvinylacetat-(EVA)- Co-polymere oder Mischungen von EPM/EVA-Co-polymeren enthält.
5. Stockgriff nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem grifffreundlichen Material Farbpigmente und/oder Lichtschutzwachse beigemischt sind.
6. Stockgriff nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der innere Formkörper eine profilierte, insbesondere wellenartige Oberfläche besitzt.
