Definitions

  • the invention relates to a stick handle according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Such a stick handle is known from DE 40 38 598 Cl and has an inner molded body made of hard plastic, preferably polyamide, and a coating made of grip-friendly elastomer.
  • the easy-grip elastomer is preferably made of natural rubber or polyurethane. This pole handle is used for hiking and all types of ski poles.
  • a handle which is intended in particular for fishing rods and which is made from a kneadable and mouldable mass made from a vinyl-based binder and from finely chopped cork in a do-it-yourself process is posed.

  • the anatomically shaped handle in this way is hard, however, so that despite its anatomical shape it is not particularly pleasant to the touch.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a further, industrially producible stick handle of the type mentioned at the outset, which in particular has an improved grip with a lower weight. This object is achieved by the stick handle according to claim 1.
  • a mixture of an elastomer and cork material is therefore used for the handle casing, which is applied to the dimensionally stable inner molded body.
  • This stick handle has a soft, elastic and easy-to-grip surface, which not only conveys a pleasant feeling when touching, but also has an improved grip.
  • the handle jacket of the stick handle according to the invention is still soft and elastic, especially at low temperatures. If the stick handle according to the invention is taken in hand, it heats up faster than the known designs and also has a heat-insulating effect. The weight of the stick handle is lower due to the addition of the cork. The greater grip and skin friendliness of the stick handle is particularly pleasant, which results from the combination of softness and elasticity with the natural properties of the cork material.
  • the stick handle can advantageously be machined after production, so that the shape of the stick handle can be designed individually, for example by grinding.
  • cork content in the handle-friendly material is between 30% and 98%, preferably between 65% and 90%, in particular 80%.

  • the stick handle 12 consists of an inner molded body 20 and a grip jacket 22 surrounding the molded body.
  • the inner molded body, which has the recess 16, consists of a dimensionally stable material, e.g. B. hard plastic, preferably polyamide.
  • It is designed as an injection molded part and is preferably provided with a profiled surface which, for example, has a wave-like profile. In this way, the inner molded body 20 and the grip jacket 22 applied thereon are held against one another in a form-fitting manner, so that they cannot slip against one another when the stick is used.
  • the grip jacket 22 consists of a mixture of cork material, preferably cork granulate or flour, with a grain size in the range from 0.3 to 3 mm, in particular from 0.5 to 2 mm and preferably about 1 mm, and one as a binder serving elastomer.
  • An easy-to-grip, thermoplastic elastomer in particular ethyl polypropylene copolymers (EPM) or ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers or mixtures of EPM / EVA copolymers, is used as the elastomer.
  • Natural rubber e.g. B. latex, can be used here.
  • the cork content in the easy-to-grip material can be varied between 30% and 98%.
  • the cork content is between 65 and 90%, preferably about 80%, that is about 78% to 82%.
  • the cork content can be selected according to the requirements for weight, softness and internal binding of the handle material. The higher the cork portion, the easier the grip. The inner binding of the grip jacket material increases with the proportion of elastomer that grows. With the preferred cork content of approximately 80%, a grip jacket 22 is obtained, in which the weight and resistance to wear are optimally coordinated.
  • the grip jacket 22 is formed as an injection molded part and onto the inner molded body sprayed on. Since the handle-friendly material is injection-moldable, the stick handle according to the invention is particularly well suited for mass production.
  • light-protective wax and advantageously additional color pigments are advantageously added to the handle-friendly material.
  • the color pigments also serve the aesthetic design of the handle.
