Abstract

Bei einem Fahrzeugheizgerät wird einem Brenner von einem Verbrennungsluftgebläse Verbrennungsluft und von einer Brennstoffdosierpumpe Kraftstoff zugeführt, und die von dem Brenner in einer Brennkammer erzeugte Wärme wird über einen die Brennkammer umgebenden Wärmetauscher mittels eines flüssigen oder gasförmigen Wärmeträgers übernommen und den zu beheizenden Stellen zugeführt. Die Brennstoffdosierpumpe muß zur Vermeidung von Betriebsstörungen durch aufgrund Überhitzung entstehende Dampfblasen kühl gehalten werden. In einer kompakten Bauweise ist zur effizienten Kühlung der Brennstoffdosierpumpe diese in einen Ansaugkanal (8) des Verbrennungsluftgebläses (1) angeordnet. Die Verbrennungsluft streicht beim Betrieb des Fahrzeugheizgeräts außen an der Oberfläche der Brennstoffdosierpumpe (14) vorbei und kühlt diese, bevor die Verbrennungsluft dann zu der Einlaßseite des Verbrennungsluftgebläses (1, 4) geführt wird.
