Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft flächenförmige Absorptionsmittel für Wasser und wäßrige Lösungen, die A) wenigstens ein wasserquellbares, synthetisches und/oder natürliches superabsorbierendes Polymer und B) wenigstens ein wasserlösliches, synthetisches und/oder natürliches Polymer als flächenförmig ausgebildete Matrix, in die die superabsorbierende Komponente A) ein- oder angebunden ist, in definierter Verteilung enthält. Die flächenförmigen Absorptionsmittel weisen eine erhöhte Aufnahmefähigkeit gegenüber Wasser und wäßrigen Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere unter Belastung auf. Sie werden hergestellt, indem man aus den wasserlöslichen synthetischen und/oder natürlichen Polymeren B) eine flächenförmige Matrix ausbildet und diese mit dem wasserquellbaren synthetischen und/oder natürlichen Superabsorber A) versieht, z.B. indem eine Lösung der Matrix B) auf eine Fläche aufgebracht, diese mit der Komponente A) bestreut und die so erhaltene Flächenstruktur dann getrocknet wird.
