Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie eine zugehörige Vorrichtung zur Dosierung der Eingabemenge eines Reduktionsmittels (4) in den Abgas- oder Abluftstrom einer Verbrennungsanlage, insbesondere eines Verbrennungsmotors (1), zum Abbau von Schadstoffen, wobei die Einstellung der Eingabemenge des Reduktionsmittels (4) über einen funktionalen Zusammenhang, ausgehend von betriebsrelevanten Parametern der Verbrennungsanlage, des Abgases (6) und gegebenenfalls eines Katalysators (2) erfolgt, wobei der funktionale Zusammenhang während des Betriebs der Verbrennungsanlage überprüft und an den aktuellen Zustand sowie die aktuellen Betriebsbedingungen der Verbrennungsanlage, des Abgases (6) und gegebenenfalls des Katalysators (2) angepaßt wird.
