Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Partikelgrößenmessung durch Messung der Abschwächung von Strahlung nach Durchlaufen einer definierten Meßstrecke, in der sich ein disperses System befindet. Erfindungsgemäß wird das zeitlich schwankende Transmissionssignal mit variabler zeitlicher oder räumlicher Auflösung aufgenommen. Diese aufgenommenen Transmissionssignale werden anschließend einer nicht-linearen Operation unterworfen. Das Ergebnis der nicht-linearen Operation wird als spektraler Verlauf, d.h. als Funktion der räumlichen oder zeitlichen Auflösung dargestellt und ausgewertet.
