Abstract

La frita contiene una sustancia dopante, preferentemente óxido de antimonio, en una cantidad comprendida entre 0,1 y 5 % en peso, que, mezclada con un óxido semiconductor, tal como dióxido de estaño, permite obtener sobre un producto cerámico un esmalte vitrificable antielectrostático. El óxido semiconductor, al estar incluido en la fase vítrea componente de la matriz cerámica del esmalte, da a éste una resistividad menor de 106 Φ.cm. Estas fritas son especialmente aplicables a la producción de piezas cerámicas esmaltadas o sinterizadas, por ejemplo, baldosas.
